On this video the first Gentleman who look like Omani wearing Barawa Hat he was speaking Chimwini language indicating that he is a Barawanis person, This native language is spoken by only the Barawa people not even the Somalis can speak it or understand it lol. it's been said that the language of Chimwini is one of the earliest Swahili language at it's first form It existed before the name Kisuwahili back then it was call Chimbalazi and it was mainly spoken by the native Barawa people and the Bajuni. The Somalis who originated from the land of Kingdom of Aksum they were nomadic pastoralists seeking for a pastureland for their cattle and water, They started to migrate and settle on the Suwahili Coast land. At one point Mogadishu, Marka, Barawa, Kismailu was not part of great Somaliya as it shows in the map now.
No no we somali don't share something about Abysinia or Aksum but we are Kushitic and we speak cushitic language like OROMO, Afar and somali and Swahili is mixture of Kushitic and Arabic accent
I don't understand kiswahili, but i can understand when a kiswahili speaker has that language as a mother language or not. I saw Omanis in some videos and now a Somali speaking kiswahili and both sounded like speaking an arabic or for better, a cushitic dialect with some bantu words inside and not as a bantu language with some arabic words as it trully is!!! Both Omanis & Somalis have an arabic accent, especialy on the "h" sounds!!! Maybe the coastal kiswahili speakers of Kenya (Mombasa), having a similar accent with the arabic, but the standart east african inlander's kiswahili accent which is more worldwide famous, has clearly a "heavy" sounded bantu accent, not those arabic "h" sounds.

This language spoken by a community called Barawa from Barawa. The language is not Swahili but borrowed some words from it. some of the speakers are forcefully trying to make it similar to swahili. Its not Somali either. There is nothing like Somali Swahili.
