Hey man I have a 75 goldwing and I can’t get the power on I’ve tryed everything aside from taking out the wire harness. And I’m just wondering before I do that looking for an inline fuse. Is there one 😂?
When you set the points gap/timing, could you please explain your process? I'm having some trouble setting the points for cylinders 3 & 4 such that they have the correct timing and the correct gap. Also on a 78 GL1000
The bike has had the timing replaced for a digital type so it wasn't necessary for me to do the point gaps. As far as I'm aware the timing is set from the left and cam so if you have 1 and 2 correct then 3 and 4 should be ok, as it uses a wasted spark 1&3 are from the same coil and 2 and 4 from the other. I hope this helps
Yeah I use it heaps for getting into those hard to reach places. I used it again for doing up the coils. Used with a magnet you can really get a bolt or screw into a tight spot.
I'm in Republic of Ireland, the problem with old bikes especially ½ finished projects is missing parts, a few thousand was put into parts alone for this old Honda.
Soon, I've finally received all the parts I need to complete the bike, sorry for the delay. The next video should be out before the new year. Don't forget to subscribe and hit the bell so you don't miss it.
Hello man u do very good job but why u do alot of thing on one flog? u can do it in 4 or 5 flogs ech 8 min better than make one flog in 3x speed or 4x speed
I have 1978 & 79 Gl1000 in my shop too... Keep it coming great video!
Thanks, I'll have the next installment out soon, all the parts are now in.

Thing is, would you rebuild another Goldwing?! Always good to know someone who knows what they're doing! Whereabouts are you in the UK? We're Dorset

@@garagemade4422 I'm beginning to understand! Best let someone else do the heavy lifting (restoration) first then?!
When is the #10 video coming? Loving these videos, man.

Thanks, but Im not sure people would be that interested in seeing that much detail.
they are because ther is alot of people which they have Goldwing and try to fix it in Home but we cant find any guid in TH-cam
Ya probably already figured out by now that you should have laid out your wiring harness before ya put any parts on the frame ...
Yes, then I wouldn't have needed to remove some things. Also the neutral switch plug would be easier to our on with the engine out.
