Hi Toast, very good video and thanks for putting all the mods in the description so I don't have to search for all of them. Also, another mod I highly advise is Realistic Headlighting, which makes the light beam of your truck a lot more realistic (although not sure it's compatible with Realistic Vehicle Lights), which is avalible on the Steam Workshop.

There are many different types of events ranging all the way from car accidents to asphalt patches and from trailer fires to breakdowns. All of the events are dynamic in one way or another so they are slightly different each time they spawn. All of the events have different rarity levels depending on the type of event so some events will spawn more often than others. Other Changes: Added retroreflective strips to the traffic cones and roadwork barriers to make them more realistic and easier to be seen at night. I have also tweaked the flares for the blinking lights on the cones and roadwork barriers to make them bigger and easier to see at night. I go with some of these. Mirror, Air ride, Environment, Noise Tires, Rain, Vehicle Lights and Dirty Tires are no improfement in my opinion. I also don´t know, why everyone goes with Promods like a religion. The original Maps + DLCs are so nice and who has already 100% discovered? But in the end it´s up to everyone to play like you like to. :)
The problem with Air ride mods is They make it worse. As a Driver myself for 10 years reminds me of Old SCANIA 143. Since that truck had Front rigid mounts and Tiny 10cm travel Shocks in the back of the cab, It was like Riding on a Horse carriage from 1200s. But at hard braking the cab would shift forward. Modern trucks Do Not have Floaty cabs that at the same time can't Swallow up bumps . It doesn't even Make sense in Real physics. If its too soft it can Sway and Float But at these same point you wouldnt even Feel the Bumps. I think its a HARD core mod for people who think: Trucking is Hard so we need to go to the extreme to make it immersive. Going so overboard that they make it further from reality and even Scientific sense than the Original was. Trucking is hard because Its a Long Hours work Non stop where you have to drive for 12 people Around you because their License doesn't demand same level of education and responsibility. Its hard because some trucks still Do not have most comfortable cabs. Its because Most truckers Dont have Fixed daily Work hours but Work and sleep when they have to/ can afford to. It kind of like Loud pipes. Yes Truckers love great sounds, but Thanks to EPA theres NONE left. On modern trucks even if you put Open pipes they sound like Shit. Its because NO consideration for sound was made when the Engine was designed , since the EPA DEMANDS quiet. Before Making it quiet was unnecessary expense that can also Constrict airflow and lower performance With Little benefits. Now Because its a Mandate All engineering cost are cut from sound design and directed to Sound eradication because they HAVE TO. I just got into the game and can't be believe what I'm missing! The only "issue" I have with the mods I currently have is getting g the right priority in the mod section. While some don't have priority, some do and it somewhat confuses me which to prioritize first so I know it works properly
8:00 the fact that the vehicle in the mirror has fog lights at night makes this mod a little too acurate (now it only needs a 10% change the incooming trafic has either the right or the left or both headlights too high just like irl)

I don't use Mods (that way I don't encounter any mod-related problems) but the AI Traffic and Promods (Maps) are the only ones which would change the gaming experience for me.
I haven’t seen one but the next best thing you could do is turn off speed limiter and speeding fines in the settings menu, then you can drive as fast as you like
My laptop just shuddered, I have like 3 of the mods listed but the HDR skyboxes with 1.49 force me to kill the traffic entirely and nerf weather quality to keep the game playable
I do have this i have ridden it more than 10k km but i think it have a problem that is light weight because when the winds are rough it moves and thats a problem
Unless they've fixed it since I last tried it, the Realistic mirror FOV is useless. It looks more realistic and it "feels" better when you're just going down the road, but it breaks down when you actually go to use it, or, rather, the in-game mirrors run out of adjustment before you can set them up correctly. And that just annoys the crap out of me. I prefer using the stock mirrors rather than these "better" ones which are *just* out of adjustment.

Be aware Daniels Random events is a great mod, but not yet updated for 1.47. it has some texture issues

You don’t need a mod to increase traffic, it’s a 2 min fix in a txt editor, if you search ets2 traffic without mods you’ll find it on TH-cam

best mod to me is truck speed limit to 140 km/h.
