My only thought was it is a bit of a miss not having the screen remove/moveable. Not having this might stop people who are building scale pits from buying it

Does the WinWing software need to be running if you are just using the ICP part?
No. You can use it without Simapp Pro running, you just won't get the DED display to sync.

It does look great, I just got mine today, except it’s probably going to be getting returned. The app required to run the icp (which they don’t tell you, nor do they provide a single bit of info on setting up the icp ) re-writes the export lua file and once that happens it will disable ANYTHING else you have that writes to that file including Helios, sim shaker, and most importantly srs. Apparently wineing knows about this, and if they can’t get back to me with a solution it’s getting returned
I'm not a fan of Simapp Pro, but I have never had any problem with it disabling SRS or any other exports, such as Tacview, Voiceattack etc.
+GrimReapersAtomic *Thanks for the preview.* The WinWinGⓇ F-16 Viper ICP is _really_ meant for a "hard" simulator packing Flight Illusion GSA-080 3ATI IAS/Mach and GSA-097 3ATI pressure altimeter as well as two appropriate 20-button MFDs; I'd actually put in for a 3ATI Combination Gyro Indicator incorporating the GSA-141 360/360 roll/pitch mechanism and a yaw-rate gauge with inclinometer consistent with the GSA-075.
The flight illusion gauges are nice, but I can’t find any review, nor can I find compatibility info with DCS. Also, they’re insanely expensive.
Thanks for the review. I’ve read that the new EU store won’t ship to the UK. Can anyone confirm if that is true? In which case with taxes and shipping what is the total cost of this actually likely to be, for anyone who’s previously purchased from the UK? Is there a flat shipping fee, or is it by weight? Basically is it the listed price plus 20/30/40%? Just a ballpark figure would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
UK is not part of EU so you probably need Global Shipping.
UK is now a 3rd world country after leaving the EU, so it will have to use the rest of the world shipping, just make sure the price does not have VAT or taxes on it as you will have to pay them on importing. Last thing I imported from the UK to Belgium cost £188 without taxes, then it was shipping @ £35, and handling cost by the shipper (Fedexpress) €35 so that became €292 then VAT on the total @21% = €353.32 or about £306 to import a radio costing £188 - That was still a lot cheaper than buying the same radio in Belgium via the local dealer's shop
Probably want to allow 30%+ over that list price on the site by the time your card provider (possible foreign currency conversion charge), courier customs fees and import tax (over £135 value) all have their piece. It could be less, but that'd just be a pleasant surprise. It's been a while since I've imported anything but I remember it quickly adding up.

I'm sure this has been mentioned in the past, newly subscribed and thinking of getting a DCS console, but anyone that might've used pagers back in the day, the 1337 is not lost! Upside down spelling leet which honestly I got from irc (internet relay chat), old school kinda new day discord is the best way I can describe it. There's irc networks with multiple servers, (efnet is what I've always used since mid 90s, still kinda check it out today even though it's massively died off since the 2000s/2010s with some OG people still using it, then there were multiple multiple other networks of servers, undernet, dalnet, etc... probably no one will understand wtf I'm talking about lol).
I'm 2 weeks behind and obviously years behind in gaming, a decade honestly but this channel has piqued my interest for damned sure, looks fun. It's horrible how I've seen some 2 year old videos that'll pop up for suggestions and they have hundreds of thousands of views but have died off. That's terrible.
Hopefully, my likes might help in a very very little way. Anyways first review video after watching at least 3 dozen random newer videos but starting to scroll back some.

Wish they would do a cheaper VR option that deosn't have the DED screen. Don't need it for VR, that or replace with with something like an A-10 UFC style control, or some other comm control (a couple extra dual rotary encoders with press would be amazing to have)
Check simgear no DED little more $ but 🤔 might not bind right with block 50 but might be a update soon.

On the advertisement the ded looks like it has yellow lettering. But reviews seem to show green lettering. So is it yellow or green?
Personally I would have preferred it if the ded and it were separate. I understand winwing’s logic, but for me it actually stops me from buying it.
It is more yellow with my unit. Would have liked the more green tint though.
Someday when I have about $10k for all the equipment and upgrade my pc again. I spent $4k on my current system 3 years ago but I'd like to get latest and greatest.

Store price for Global is 195 but on the US store its 205, for some reason winwing changed it.
so... the other panels/screens it clips onto.. are they existing panels for the F-18? do you think WinWing will make a full panel for the F-16 so we don't have to stick it on top so clumsily? :)
In your opinion what would be the better option to grab first? The WW PTO 2 or the ICP panel to supplement my current WW orion 2 hotas setup and VKB rudder pedals

The whole point of building a panel this close to scale is to have a scale panel. Putting the display on top totally ruins it.
Anyone knows if the display can work in BMS?

@@grimreapers no I thought I had, but I didn’t, it’s been an issue the last few days, it will let me spawn in random templates (not ones that I made) but will not let me spawn in any ground vehicle or unit by itself. Thank you so much for responding!
