    Once you create a template, how do you go back in and add new elements? Such as a new button or table?

    Can I add in columns or rows? I can't seem to edit areas below the "repeatable" items

    Hi, thank you for showing so easy how this works! awesome video. I got it working and I am building the first email. I am looking into the docs if there is a way to add custom own components (apart of the 5 standard). I want to add a custom editable component so can be added/removed. Do you know if this is possible ? Thanks

    Why do you have to pick a campaign? What does that have to do with the template?

    • @ImplementationGuru
      @ImplementationGuru  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because campaigns in Pardot are used to figure out first touch attribution your email could be the first place someone starts their journey in being introduced to your brand. Because of this Pardot makes you select a campaign to make sure it can flag the prospect when it is created against the right campaign for more accurate ROI reporting.

    Nice. There are a couple of tips here that are not in the Pardot training. Can you add timestamps for different sections?

      As there seems to be more interest in my videos I'll endeavor to map out the sections in more detail and add a bit more content! Thank you very much for engaging and make sure to subscribe as more content is coming over the next couple of weeks.

    Thank you so much for this great explanation video... I saw how you can duplicate blocks.... is there a way to add them without clicking on replicate?

    Do you have any videos surrounding email metrics after they have been sent. Opens, clicks, etc.

    How do I add an image by adding a file? It pops up with a red X graphic every time I try to upload one. I loved the video, helps so much. Thanks.

    • @ImplementationGuru
      @ImplementationGuru  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Kelsey, there could be a few reasons for the red x, i would always do a quick sanity check and just save off the template and jump out and jump into the template incase it is some sort of loading issue. You could always open the preview in a pop up and use Chrome's "inspect" tools to help you figure out what is going on. However, if you upload a picture into the files section of pardot, THEN go into your template and add it from the dropdown list, that may solve your issue. Let me know if any of those solves work, happy to share a few more?

    Hi - how can I add call to action buttons on the email please?

    • @ImplementationGuru
      @ImplementationGuru  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There are 2 ways. One way is to add a picture to your template and hyperlink the picture, this is the easiest option but not best practice as quite often email clients will block pictures from loading and your prospects may have problems seeing the picture and impact click through rates. The second way is to create a button is with html, this is the way I would suggest as it has the best likely hood of being visible even to prospects that don’t load all the images in the email. Either way I know it isn’t the easiest thing in the world to do with Pardot email template builder but head over to “dabuttonfactory.com” and that should be a start.

    Hi. Thank you for your work!. Pardot support embed a video in an email?

    • @ImplementationGuru
      @ImplementationGuru  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unfortunately not yet, you'd put an image of the video then a url behind it to click away to your hosting tool like TH-cam or Wistia

      How to sync the fields from pardot form to Salesforce lead object

    • @ImplementationGuru
      @ImplementationGuru  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there, you'd work through this set up guide with your SalesForce Admin - if you're a Pardot Admin you'll be able to see the fields already synced and available under Admin > Configure Fields > Prospects resources.docs.salesforce.com/latest/latest/en-us/sfdc/pdf/pardot_sf_connector_setup_implementation_guide.pdf
