While Pardot/Salesforce online documentation is complete, it's like learning to drive by reading the technical repair manual for my car. Your site is well named. Trent...thank you so much for your excellent tutorials. I've learned more from you in the three I've watched today than all the other tutorials and literature I've come across. I hope you continue these. I'm just starting to work with Pardot and have been tasked to be the person of contact for our company, so I need to get up to speed quickly. Thank you very much for the kind words! If you are hitting barriers with your learning please let me know which topics are important to you and I will try and prioritize them! I honestly grabbed a semi-decent Mic off amazon and use a free screen capture tool that allows me to chop bits out or blur things were needed and most of my videos are done in 1 take. I make the thumbnails in Canva (highly recommend this tool!!!) and use a free online white board for the sketches. I have been a consultant for years so have gotten very good at drawing with my mouse to explain things, as 90% of my clients I deal with remotely. All in all, I don't ask for any money in return for content and have chosen not to monetize my channel so try and keep it as lean as possible. Thanks again and don't forget to subscribe!
Trent amazing content thanks so much. super crystal-clear. I just have a quick question regarding the visitor activity.. So in my company , they did know use the "website campaign tracking code " on their website. Therefore, I should not see any visitors activity. However, today by looking at a prospect' activity tab I came across the visit type which indicates that the prospect saw something on the website. i was quite stunned as the tracking code is not present on our website. So I drilled into this prospect and I noticed that the page he viewed were 2 and i clicked on the link and it was an actual link to an email template that it sent via Engagement studio. How would you explain this behavior? I though the visit activity under a prospect activity tab would only show up when u have the pardot website tracking code embedded on the website. but in this case it shows the view activity but it is an email not an actual website page. Thanks in advance
