Spanian what you said at the start about affordable living is spot on. I can't go buy expensive pizza for my family. But we can definitely buy a few value pizzas and the kids love their takeaway night

As a Domino's worker, I'd be checking your pay packet is accurate. In court at the moment trying to explain why they are consistently underpaying their staff. That how they can provide such a cheap pizza, because they don't pay their staff what they should.

Hey Nic thanks for letting me know this. I will personally no longer support dominos. I worked at a family owned insulation place and did everything for them and found out they were underpaying me hours of work and so I left and I’ve been jobless for months but I’m happy to not work for anyone. I don’t support maccas and subway for the exact same reason and now I won’t be having dominos anymore

I’ve noticed particularly this year that a lot of businesses have taken longer holidays and choosing not to open during what would be for sure guaranteed busy periods. I said the exact same thing last week when I was down the south coast Jervis Bay for New Years the amount of businesses that were closed was ridiculous.

Jervis Bay shops have always pulled the mickey with the way they open and close their shops, but I agree: they well overdid it recently. I couldn’t even find a place to get a fish and chips from at 3pm in the afternoon during a holiday period down there. All 4 places I went to were closed 🤣

I used to be a full time delivery driver in the early 90's at the St Mary's depot. 4.1 Ford Falcon XF, 30cents per litre LPG, plus $2.50 a pack for bazzas, take home free pizza for munchies for my housemates...😁

Dominos must have seen the camera and loaded up with toppings. Their supremes don't have anywhere near that topping these days when i get them. It's literary cheese and a few bits of meat here and there

Leichhardt has quality pizza, Moretti and Grappa both have great traditional Italian pizza! Other than that out here in the western suburbs La Piazza at Bankstown Sports Club is amazing! Pikkio in Panania another great one, and haven’t been in years but the Italian Food Project in Camden was elite the one time I tried it 🍕

Sydney's best pizza imo was Pomodorino on Addison rd Marrickville. Crazy textures, crunchy bottom and super juicy toppings. Unfortunately they got kicked out by their landlord or something and shut down a couple years ago. Best pizza I ever had I reckon

Try a Naples style pizza from Via Napoli, it’s no contest. The base alone is far better. Freshly baked Woodfired base with sauce is great, the toppings are just bonus. No turning back once you’ve gone there.

Dominoes does have Olives on the Godfather only I believe since it's the only one I normally get, others you'll need to add as extra.

Big boi - I have a pizza tier system you might be interested in hearing about. Note: no tier is better than the other (but pizzas within tiers can be ranked). You could be hung over on the couch and a tier 4 could be best thing to ever happen to you, while scoffing at a tier 1. End pizza hate.
Tier 1 - your bella brutas, woodfire oven type joints, fancy places.
Tier 2 - Non fancy restaurants (pubs etc) that have decent pizza
Tier 3 - take away joints that try to model them selves as being a better choice than a tier 4. Angry Tonys, your local italian join that says they have the best pizza in [suburb].
Tier 4 - Your Epic Pizzas (top of tier 4 imo), Manoosh, Dominos etc etc
as i said, no tier trumps the other, they're all beautiful at the right moment.
Any place called “bar Italia” in Leichhardt shouldn’t even have a pizza with pineapple on the menu. Disgrace.

While I love your reviews, work and efforts, you don’t appear to be a pizza lover.
Why? There are two types of people- those who know pizza, and those who don’t.
Each base is different.
Each sauce is different.
Each topping is sourced differently.
Each cheese is different, mozzarella, feta, ricotta, etc
Then the cooking process is different.
Put all this together, and you get different combinations and varied level of taste.
Also supreme pizzas don’t allow you to zoom on topping, sauce and bases. Less is more, go with 3-4 topping max.
Dominoes bases are pre frozen.
Sauces are generous but generic.
Try some wood fired places where you taste a completely different flavour of base.
Too many pizza joints and you chose inner city venues…. At end of video you review manoosh pizza, and your sitting opposite of EPIC PIZZA joint.

I got 3 kids,........typical order from Dominos, 2 deep pan $5 Pepperoni, use a 50% coupon for traditional pizzas and get a Deep pan Meat lovers and a Chicken supreme with no pineapple or capsicum, add olives and Italian sausage. Cost around $30 fro 5 pizzas, feeds everyone.

Dominoes is a large franchise, they always gonna have money but these local stores need to mark their prices up to stay alive. But yes you are right about dominoes being cheaper and affordable for majority of the people.
