I've been doing silversmithing for 47 years and still I learn so much from you channel which I think is one of the best. This tutorial was especially helpful because I have most of these tools. Thanks
Great texturing techniques, and a reminder that using things in ways different than how they were meant to be used can offer unique possibilities! The cut off wheels are brittle and can break very easily, so please remember to wear eye protection!
What a fantastic texture demo! I think I need to just start making a bunch of texture reference squares...because "My mind might explode," trying to remember all the ideas and how to create them too!
Thank you. I am working on a copper top for a wooden box that needs a texture and I'm sure there is something here I can use. With some textures I find it easier to work with the handpiece in a clamp and hold the workpiece with both hands.
Oh wow! The pronged things on the polishing heel gives a great stippled star dust effect. So much cheaper than one of the diamond tipped things and a hammer hand piece.
Your simple explanations give the the courage to explore, and make me curious about how I might replicate many patterns and textures! Thank you sooo much!!❤❤❤❤
“Because my mind might explode” Lol 💕💕💕
