Sandman is not a top 5 villain, I don't think he's even a top 10. He spent a lot of time with the Frightful Four and as a Merc for Silver Sable. The only reason a lot of people rank Sandman so high is because he was in a movie. Before then, he wouldn't have made many lists. Vulture, Kraven and Hobgoblin have all been more major enemies in the comics than Sandman who is pretty much just a brute.
Lockjaw Wrong. Vulture has always been a major, consistent threat and Hobgoblin was a major villain in the early to mid 80's. Both of them were higher tier villains than Sandman. Take it from someone who has been a long time fan and has actually read Spider-Man comics for over 20 years. I have hundreds on Spider-Man comics spanning the past 5 decades. I know what I'm talking about.

Hob Goblin is probably my Favorite Spider-Man villain, tbh. After seeing what they're going for with Norman Osborn in legacy, it makes me hope that Hob Goblin will return. One of the reasons why he's my favorite is because of the animated series. Mark Hamill did a fantastic job voice acting as him. He was the first Goblin before Norman in that show! And he had more Screen time

I always love his character but his never really had his own opportunity to shine (although I havent Reade everything so it could just be me missing stuff) his always been in the Sinister six which kind of overshadow. My favorite appearances of electro are 1. when peter fought him in the death of jean dewolfe storyline, and 2. in the ultimate universe when miles morales venom blasted him and beat him at the ultimates hq.
The first one was good, but ASM2 was awful, it went in a completely different direction in terms of tone and costume design, plus the plot was all convoluted with too many villains.
Michillion McNuggets Bizzarro is awesome. And uhhh Mongol, Parasite, Cyborg Superman, General Zod, Lobo (considered an anti-hero but also fights Superman), and of course the greatest villain EVER... Darkseid. You obviously don't know much about Superman
Except Spidey's rouge's gallery were either designed to kill him or are as smart as him. Bat's was just criminals, only a few have permanent powers. Joker isn't super powered, he's like Bat's. A human that can rival gods. Ivy, Croc, and Bane are the only main-stream villains with powers. Mr. Freeze usually is just a man that can't survive outside of freezing climates. Usually it is the suit that has the powers. people watched Batman and Spider-Man for years, but seem to know more of Spidey's rather than Bat's. Probably due to many of Spidey's villains having a life ordinary people can understand. Keep in mind most of Spidey's villains started of trying to accomplish their dream or provide for their family. Also Spidey's villains have all of Bat's villains beat plus some. They are like Batman villains 2.0.
When it comes to Spidey villains, who they are as a person outside of the costume is a massive factor for me. Carnage is my all time favorite. Cletus Kasady is the best 'out of costume' villain. He's psychotic, sadistic and brings a level of malevolence unmatched by the other baddies in the Spiderverse. He goes to lengths and crosses lines that other villains aren't willing to. Also, I've always been a huge fan of Scorpion. I love his suit and it's powers/abilities. Plus, Mac Gargan himself is awesome. Vicious, brutal and ruthless.

I loved the amazing movies, definitely more than Homecoming. Wish they would've continued with them so we could've seen the Sinister Six.
The first one was good, but ASM2 was awful, it went in a completely different direction in terms of tone and costume design, plus the plot was all convoluted with too many villains.

Michillion McNuggets Bizzarro is awesome. And uhhh Mongol, Parasite, Cyborg Superman, General Zod, Lobo (considered an anti-hero but also fights Superman), and of course the greatest villain EVER... Darkseid. You obviously don't know much about Superman

Except Spidey's rouge's gallery were either designed to kill him or are as smart as him. Bat's was just criminals, only a few have permanent powers. Joker isn't super powered, he's like Bat's. A human that can rival gods. Ivy, Croc, and Bane are the only main-stream villains with powers. Mr. Freeze usually is just a man that can't survive outside of freezing climates. Usually it is the suit that has the powers. people watched Batman and Spider-Man for years, but seem to know more of Spidey's rather than Bat's. Probably due to many of Spidey's villains having a life ordinary people can understand. Keep in mind most of Spidey's villains started of trying to accomplish their dream or provide for their family. Also Spidey's villains have all of Bat's villains beat plus some. They are like Batman villains 2.0.

When it comes to Spidey villains, who they are as a person outside of the costume is a massive factor for me.
Carnage is my all time favorite. Cletus Kasady is the best 'out of costume' villain. He's psychotic, sadistic and brings a level of malevolence unmatched by the other baddies in the Spiderverse. He goes to lengths and crosses lines that other villains aren't willing to.
Also, I've always been a huge fan of Scorpion.
I love his suit and it's powers/abilities. Plus, Mac Gargan himself is awesome. Vicious, brutal and ruthless.
