@OVERHAND The hell are you eve moaning and whining about? He doesn't look ridiculous at all unless you're just whining about him being bisexual. His character design is fine because it's Jonathan kent, not clark kent.
One great thing about Spider Man 2 was how it shows how Doc Ocs arms was directly infused into his spine via many, many neural needle. The visuals, the expression of pain , the way they carry it out was simply amazing. That scene made Dr Octopus my favourite villain of Spiderman. Definitely worth the return in Spiderman: No Way Home.
Green Goblin started as a very unimportant enemy, was presented as a crazy dude who bombed a kid's party. He killed Gwen, and that's about all he's done in the Spider-Man comics. He's only had like 10 appearances in total. Spends most of his history not remembering he's evil or simply DEAD, with other goblins taking his place, even Harry's been around probably more than Norman. When he's been alive; he spent his time fighting Cap, Iron Man, Cyclops and others. He's more a Marvel villain than he's ever been a Spidey villain. Dock Ock defeated Spider-Man for the first time, was presented as the big bad guy. He's got an alter-ego known as the Master Planner who was again marketed, promoted and written as Spidey's greatest villain in the comics at the time, he almost killed Spidey in the greatest Spider-Man comic. Was chosen as the greatest threat among the most popular villains of the silver age by the writers for a reason, making him founder and leader of the Sinister Six. He caused the death of Captain Stacy and destroyed Gwen and her relationship with Peter even before her death. He's always found himself returning to Spidey and also the other way around. They feared and respected each other because they knew each other very well. He's been fighting Spidey every other week, and at the end of Vol 1 he didn't "just took his body", he took Peter's life defeating him for the last time in the 616 universe. GG has no chance. Ock is the superior villain.
6:13 Not quite. Octavius defeats Peter in their first fight and easily throw some out of the building. Peter is so discouraged because it's the first time since receiving his powers that he's been beaten hand to hand. He contemplates quitting as Spider-Man it even goes so far as to tell Jamison by phone that he would not be able to get any more photos of Spider-Man. It's not until he attends a motivational speech by Johnny storm that convinces him to get back into the webs and confront Doc Ock again, this time using his scientific acumen to create a substance that would fuse his arms together and enable him to land a knockout punch. It's one of those moments that solidified the friendship between Spidey and the human torch.

No Way Home made me happy that he had in a sense be redeemed, and superior Spider-Man gave me a similar feeling, but more complicated with how he ended up changing. Ock's also been voiced by top-notch voice actors in animation: Efrem Zimbalist Jr. In Spider-Man: The Animated Series and Peter MacNicol in Spectacular Spider-Man.
Doc Oc is one of the best villains of all time. Let's not forget that while he had Aunt May kidnapped, he took exceptional care of her, offering tea and treats. And as Superior Spider-Man, he learned that Peter had been holding back on them this entire time when he accidentally punched Scorpion's jaw CLEAN OFF HIS FACE. And by that, learned more respect for Peter. Also, I still think the origin in Spider-Man 2 movie was the best, and Alfred Molina the best there ever was.
