The Spider-Man and Venom rivalry in this show was really well written I thought giving us backstory between Peter Park and Eddie Brock as longtime companions turned bitter enemies was very unique
I believe the Ultimate comics do that. The symbiote is a suit made by scientists to fight diseases though, I believe. Also to note, the symbiote feeding on negative emotions only started in the 94 cartoon, but has stuck in most adaptations ever since, even though it still hasn't made it into the comics.
It's a shame that this beautiful cartoon never get more seasons. A truly love letter for Spidey's fans from creators: The best version of Peter in television history, never boring fighting scenes, interesting characters, no Avengers and this cliffhanger... Do I have to explain more??? :)
It brings me endless joy and tears to see a video dedicated to the Spectacular Spider-Man. It's an amazing series that deserves to be remembered and is easily my favorite version of Spidey outside the comics.
I really wish Spectacular would get a continuation in some way. That being said, I hope the upcoming Spider-Man: Freshman Year would turn out to be one of the better Spider-Man animated series in recent years.

I Absolutely Cherish and Appreciate those two as My Most Favorite Epic Marvel Hero and Villain Throughout the Years of the *Spider-Man* franchise and the Marvel Universe. I Absolutely Love the Voice Acting Performances of Josh Keaton and Steve Blum as Peter Parker Spider-Man and the Green Goblin in this Show SO much from my Childhood Years.
I loved this series as a kid, and was so bummed it didn’t return for another season. However, I did love that they acknowledged Spectacular Spider Man in Across the Spider Verse, even though it did also confirm Captain Stacy dies after the show’s ending.
This is still my favorite Spider-man animated series! I was just rewatching some episodes the other day and I completely forgot how funny this show could get! 11:51 is an excellent example of Spectacular Spiderman's humor! 🤣

Do a 6 vs 1 fight and still manage to be cohesive, well animated, without incoherence, and make sense is absolutely almost impossible, and they still manage to do right, all the villains attacks peter at the same time and they fight with organization, and Peter ( the blacksuit) manages to outsmart and outnumber them. Absolutely perfection.
Spider-man vs Shocker is one my favorites. Even though Shocker has vibrations blasters and he thinks he can take on Spider-man. "Well Spider-man can do whatever a Spider can." And can easily take down shocker by distracting him.

WOW how was I right thinking the fight number 1 would be Spiderman with his alien suit against the 6 Sinisters, because he even did it while asleep while the alien controlled him to fight.. I also agree with the posts about Peter's internal fight to free himself from the black alien and the final battle against the Green Goblin, I almost thought we would not see the villain again... Spiderman's fight against all the imprisoned villains and against Doc Ock "the Master Planner"

Great list, the gangland fight was my favorite. I couldn't agree more, this is a show that was cut too shortly and abruptly and I'm still hoping for another season. I absolutely adore this show, and it's my top favorite of all time. From great voice casting, story, the emotional weight, and action. And another thing I appreciated about the show was some of the references and callback from Toby's Spider-Man

It’s ironic because since Group Therapy is on the top of the list, it’s actually my favorite episode of the series. The way the symbiote used Peter to fight the Sinister Six in his sleep and in different advantages, it made such a great episode. Hoping for a potential 3rd season.
When I think about Spiderman's epic battle against The Sinister Six. Sometimes I imagine myself going up against some of the most infamous Disney villains.
Huge oversight here, WatchMojo. The second Venom fight from "Identity Crisis" should not only be beyond the honourable mention section and on the list, but be second place. The show made it clear that it was aiming to be the very best Spider-Man adaptation there ever was a few times - The excellent character development for a multitude of comic supporting characters, the underarm webbing on Spidey's suit, the symbiote suit transitioning from the Spider-Man 3 one to the comics one, slowly but surely growing into the Venom one, as Peter's mind is warped, the character snippets in-between episodes to give flair, along with opera music during an epic, concluding fight scene. Another example is the notably extended, epic, dynamic fight scenes on occasion - One is the rightful top choice on the list with the dynamic, ever interestingly evolving Sinister Six fight, and the second is the Venom one, which is roughly seven minutes of an epic battle where Spidey seems hopelessly outclassed by Venom. Going from the street, and then throughout various places in the school, it's still the best Venom fight of all time.

I realized that you haven't done that for anime yet (I am aware of the existence of studio Ghibli tackled serious issue video). So will you please make the video "Top 10 times anime tackled serious issues"? I would love to see it and I'm sure I'm not the only one. There are quite a few anime series/episodes like this.
I don't care if it's worked into a battle with Miles, Peter's seperation with the symbiote in Marvel's Spider Man 2 needs to play out like it did here.
The 90s Spider-Man cartoon was very overrated for me since he got on my nerves, how much Spider-Man never stops talking. This cartoon on the other hand captured his personality the best in my opinion, and the jokes were always hilarious. The counter that when I got emotional, it was very impactful like the uncle Ben moment.

I watched this show religiously every weekend in the morning when I was younger this was the best animated Spider-man show.
