Boy, did I have fun watching this video from 4 years ago! With the exception of Duke's Canoe Club, hubby and I went to all the other places. I even saw the carved leaves on the bush next to the Coffee Farm...I'm on it! Hanapepe is such a cute town too. Waimea Canyon is worth the trek up the path and I'm hoping I can easily do it again next year when we vacation in Kauai. Thanks for the memories!

Hi! Up to Kauai- 1/23/2019. I could never do a plane flight like that for a one day visit. I went to this "chip" shop on Kauai; potato, taro, sweet potato, etc. it was located in the former "main town" , I forgot the name, anyway the kitchen/store was in an old,old plantation house. If not for the sign it looked like another old rundown house. This was maybe 5 years ago.
Sadly the Ono Family Restaurant where you had breakfast has closed. It was one of our favs for breakfast too. They've been shuttered through out this covid-19 issues and won't be reopening. Two other favs for local style breakfast are Kountry Kitchen in Kapaa and Tip Top Cafe in Lihue. Hope you can try one of those on your next trip! (I'm still binge watching your older vlogs. LOL)
