My girlfriend's dad worked there in 1960. It is an L.A. icon for fast food stands. As an adult my childhood friend was a hairdresser in Monrovia. She did the hair of the founding Mrs. of the In and Out mom and pop business. Once the older woman realized the girls at Evelia's Beauty Salon liked to get burgers she showed up with two boxes of burgers, fries and cokes for the entire staff every Friday for many years. True Story...I remember when.

You two started your day at a bakery that's close to my heart.
For many years my Hawaiian sweet bread sandwich was the most requested sandwich where I worked. And in the 90's it won 2nd place at a Real Men's food contest!! Enjoy you two immensely. Didn't know you were local. Torrance area used to be my old stomping grounds for many years. Thanks for the great postings. Stay safe😷!!
