We have an extended vacation coming up soon, trying to decide from a few places where to go. This is what we stress over. lol

Don't know if there's video of more recent trips to Oahu but Liliha Bakery also has a bigger restaurant & bakery on Nimitz Hwy and recently opened at the top of Macy's at Ala Moana Center (used to be Alan Wong's). With C-19 not sure if all locations are open for dine in tho. Love their food and coco puffs! 🤙😘

Thanks Cassidy! We booked our hotel the day before we left using the Hotel Tonight app. We actually talked about shooting the room and the hotel in general, maybe next time if we need more content. We edited this vlog way down and still coming in at almost 25 minutes! lol

I still enjoy watching what you have to report especially on any Hawaiian island. I love the plumeria 🇺🇸🙋♀️🦋💜If you get back to the big island, I would love if you snooped around the Hilton Waikaloa village. I’m not sure of the spelling lol. I stayed there for 12 nights and I’m sure that you would like the property. It’s 60 some acres, and there’s a tram to ride from place to place. I would LOVE for you to feature this property. There are restaurants so I don’t think you would be breaking any parking rules. Oh how I would love to see it again. 🙂 I’m not saying to stay there, just check it out lol. It’s pretty pricey lol

We've been to Ted's Bakery a few times and it's a must stop place for us because of their awesome plate lunches. They have the BEST Loco Moco and of course the chocolate haupia pie. So the last time we went there, we had meant to go to Giovannis first for shrimp, but they had just closed. So we went to Ted's and I said well I guess I'll try their shrimp since I had never had it before. I was a little upset that I felt like I was "settling" for Ted's shrimp. Well I'm glad I did!! This will probably be controversial, but I think Ted's shrimp is WAY better than Giovannis. Like you said, their sauce is AMAZING. I dreamt about that stuff after I left and went home and tried to replicate it and I just cant. Their spicy garlic shrimp sauce is even better! There is just something about that sauce. I think they put white wine in it or something. Anyway, I'll take Ted's over Giovanni's any day and it's much less of a wait! ALOHA!
Bill & Lisa's food and travel blog its on the north shore side past Fumi going away from turtle bay driving towards BYU. There’s a huge red sign and truck. It’s a few miles from fumi’s. The wait is long, but every time we go we can’t go anywhere else. Completely a Different take on the garlic shrimp!
Fumi's Shirmp has their shrimp ponds just in back of their building... A tour guide told me (as I was commenting on his You Tube visit to the North Shore shrimp trucks) that Romy's and Fumi's had their own shrimp ponds but Giovanni's buy their shrimps from Costco....gee, I'm thinking can that be true? Perhaps...I can see that happening as they do the largest business with their Kahuku and Haleiwa locations...
Interesting... If true about Giovanni's, hope they're at least locally sourced. If you haven't already, give Ted's Bakery at try with their garlic shrimp.

We stayed at the Surfjack Hotel in Waikiki. Our second time staying here, it's a really nice hotel with friendly staff. We bounce around hotels depending on the best rate we can get, but we do filter out the low rent options. lol
This past birthday was on the Carnival cruise. Last year was in Maui. Video titled, 'Foodie Adventure: Maui!'. All the places in that vlog we ate at, restaurant name is mentioned.
