RIP Jerry .🌈 Condolences, Roger. 😢 Angie, you took an ugly duckling and turned it into a swan!! I’m glad you removed the buttons! Hope this piece brings in lots for the bunnies! ❤
Roger, I always enjoyed reading your comments about you and Jerry, and your reaction to Angie's creations (we know he was jealous of the cat condo!). I'm so sorry you've had to say goodbye for now to Jerry, but what a lucky nugget he was to be loved by you.❤
This may not be your favorite piece but it shows that you certainly know your craft! It reminds me of the waterbed my husband had when we first were married. Yes, I’m old!😂 As usual, nice job, Angie.💕
Transcendence Perfection. I think you just see something in these pieces and wont stop until you bring it out. If a table has a soul, this one is rejoicing.
Amazing result again. I have seen people have good results with mesh "sandpaper" when working on turned nobbly legs. Rest well Jerry. Please accept my virtual hugs Roger. It is never nice to lose a member of your family.
This was a superb transformation, and the coloring matched the bunny perfectly. The rescue should make lots of money from the raffling off of this piece. 💗💖🐇
Nice work Angie. It's interesting to see how people react to a lighter piece of furniture. When stripping walnut, often there's lighter sapwood, which I don't like, but I've heard many viewers prefer it versus a uniform stained look.
It's amazing Angie!! We're always our own harshest critics but that's typical of any artist whatever the medium - so in awe of the time you spend helping out this charity...I love your work and work ethic, thanks for sharing this part of your life with us xxx
I was so curious where you could possibly go with this. But as you always do… you nailed it. I think Puff likes it too. Puff is adorable!!!! Awww… RIP Jerry.
Puff looks proud to be the model for this makeover. I'm not a fan of pine at all either for many reasons, but you've done an excellent job of giving this piece a wonderful dark glow. It's a handsome, unique hall table now. Well done and good luck to all the raffle participants :) x
Good call on removing the knobby hole covers: the piece fits many more interior design aesthetics without them. The leafy pulls complement it's rustic vibe very nicely, too. Good job on this challenging piece!
Another stunning transformation... It is so interesting that the thing you were trying to vanquish (dye stain) became the answer to the piece's beautification. And Puff -- What a gorgeous bunny. I'm sure the bunny back story with its furry inspiration will help maximize the offers. Blessings to you and the bunnies! 🐇🐇🐇🐇🐇
Definitely not what I expected - but I love how it turned out. Especially the depth of colour at the bottom, and the contrast between the black finish and the inside of the drawers. Good luck for the babies! I hope they all find good homes soon.
I love how you take all the knowledge you gained so far to turn a difficult piece into a beautiful piece. I wish I could have a bunny or two, but I have hound dawgs.
I could see "Gothic Countryside" or "Dark Countryside" (??) being a unique aesthetic! In any case, it turned out beautiful, handsome even, which lends it some versatility.
I have just bought a great pine piece from an auction. It’s a Mexican pine console table. There’s some work on the drawers and the top. This really gave me a lot of great ideas. I can’t wait to start my first project.
This was fun to watch. It kept looking awful until suddenly it sat up looking far more refined and dignified than I thought pine could ever look. I hope it benefited the bunnies!
I watch these before bed. Seeing the processes you use and why your doing it along with your sweet voice is very relaxing. Nice job! Not a big fan of the style to begin with but you made this look way better than it did when it was new. That's talent!
This turned out fabulous Angie. Love your work. Such a wonderful thing to do for the bunnies. Your garden is lovely, especially with the wildlife. Love your channel.
You’re so talented and your artistic style shows through in every one of your transformations. It’s crazy how you see all of that ahead of time. Awesome job!
The finished piece is beautiful. I think you would need a lathe to remove the dye stain from those legs.Wood turning is a lot of fun. Maybe that would be a good addition to your wish list.
The result is worth all the headache. I hope who ever gets this piece really appreciates it. It's also nice to see all the four legged friends during the rehab.
An absolute work of art Angie, I always wonder where you will go on your restoration journey but you never cease to amaze with your creativity, cheers!!!👍👍👍
Wow Angie....so much hard and tedious work went into this piece. Its quite beautiful ❤ I didnt realize until the comparison of before (with plugs) and after( without them), how much the plugs date a piece. It looks so much better without them. The knowledge that you share with us about woodworking and stains, finishes, types of wood, etc etc is one with a generous and giving soul. I hope you raise a lot of money with your table for the fur babies. Puff is adorable❤❤
Puff the Magic Console Creator! Yea on the water based stain info, re the showing thru later. Very special patience on the spindles! I too hate fussing w them. In this case was well worth the hour spent for each. Love Puff’s idea based on her coloring. Such a horribly aged piece turned beautifully unique in every way. Great focused diligent work! Missed you as have been sleeping off the flu for weeks! Love your rabbit commitment 🐰 😊 we are much better, however damn the covid 19 creators ~ they will get theirs but not soon enough to suit me! Stay well!
Both you and Jay from Flippingdrawers have had quite the week. It’s always the “ Fast easy projects “ that turn out to be the most time consuming. Love all the bunnies and your inspiration bunny knocked it out of the park.
This piece turned out gorgeous and really does match Puff's colouring, which is so cute!! Personally I may have tried to change out those spindle pieces, they kind of date it. But I am sure you had your reasons not to. You're the expert after all. But I really do love the transformation, it's a gorgeous piece of furniture!! I forgot to tell you how cute Nacho was when he was a kitten in the video before this. And all those bunnies are so cute and the baby deer as well. My husband and I live in the forest in the Northern Cascade Mountains in BC. Lot's of wildlife here too.❤
Well, Angie. Talk about making a silk purse out of a sow's ear. What a really nice renovation. I won't say "restoration" in this case because I don't think the piece ever looked as good as it does now. Well done.
Puff has beautiful coloring and her cinnamon shows through her black/salt & pepper depending on how she’s posing and the lighting. You’ve really captured her essence in this beautiful piece! ❤️
You have golden hands Angie, whatever you start, it will be very, very beautiful. It always gives me great pleasure to watch you. Thank you for that. ❤
Just magnificent! You HAVE to include a pic of Puff with the piece so everyone can see how spot on you did with her inspiration! I know things don’t always turn out the way we plan, but sometimes they turn out the way they’re supposed to be. Best wishes on the auction! I’m still just floored by this! 😍😍😍🐇💖
Angie- Puff is such a beauty! Your “Puff piece” seemed to come alive as your process progressed! It is really lovely. Please accept our condolences for the loss of Jerry. ❤️
Thank you! Jerry wasn’t one of ours, but he was a faithful viewer (and his owner Roger) and member of the TFG family.. I loved reading Jerry’s reviews of the furniture, Roger has an exceptional way with words, and every comment was a treat. :-)
Well, well, well, once again Angie you have made something from the eighties look amazing. Most of us would have would have enjoyed all the pretty colors the old finishes would made tossed into a good bonfire. 🤩 You are amazing how your artistry shows through on your pieces. Thanks for sharing what different products you use react with the woods/substrates. We learn a lot. Beautiful job. Still quilting, haven’t forgotten, Cora from MI
Love it. Puff should be proud as your inspiration. It all looked like a matte finish as you went through each process, but it all came together really well with the final coat. ❤
Because of your inspiration I'm refinishing too. It's really for pure enjoyment. I am covering my expenses. Oh, I'm 80.
I love this!!!
80 yrs old? Impressive age to do a refinishing, quite a bit of arm, shoulder, and back use. Great luck, to you!
That must be an amazing activity - exercise for the body AND mind.
Fantastic! I'm a couple years younger and loved to refinish before it became popular. Now my back won't allow it.
80 is the new 60.. ;)
All furniture reveals should have a bunny involved! Beautiful piece. It goes perfectly with her fur!
It should definitely be a new thing!!
It turned out beautifully. The word sable comes to mind.
I love it! Thanks so much for watching! 😊
When you put your magic to it, even the most "common" piece brightens up ! I love it now !
Thank you so much! 😊
Fly high, Jerry 🌈🐾
May his memory be a blessing
Much love Roger 💐
Thank you for that, I hope Roger sees this. ❤️
I love how perfectly you matched Puff. Beautiful ending as always.
Thank you very much!! 😀
I love that you always clean, sand, freshen up drawers, backs, etc.
RIP Jerry .🌈 Condolences, Roger. 😢 Angie, you took an ugly duckling and turned it into a swan!! I’m glad you removed the buttons! Hope this piece brings in lots for the bunnies! ❤
Thank you kindly Tanya! ❤️
Puff is the ideal model for your new piece; he also has brown showing through black. Both the bunny and the table are beautiful.
Yes Puff was the inspiration for the colours. 😊
Roger, I always enjoyed reading your comments about you and Jerry, and your reaction to Angie's creations (we know he was jealous of the cat condo!). I'm so sorry you've had to say goodbye for now to Jerry, but what a lucky nugget he was to be loved by you.❤

Wow. You nailed Puff's color.
Thank you!

*RIP Jerry...🌈... may Roger be comforted by all of the loving ❤️ memories he and Jerry shared.🐹*
This was a superb transformation, and the coloring matched the bunny perfectly. The rescue should make lots of money from the raffling off of this piece. 💗💖🐇
Fingers and toes crossed!! 🤞
Nice work Angie. It's interesting to see how people react to a lighter piece of furniture. When stripping walnut, often there's lighter sapwood, which I don't like, but I've heard many viewers prefer it versus a uniform stained look.

I'm so glad you like it!
Thanks again for the wonderful variety of techniques you creatively apply to make the old and Kicked about shine again.
You're very welcome! ☺️
Very pretty. And you got the color spot on! Puff should be happy!❤
I think she is!! 🐰

Thank you so much! I'm so glad you like it!
It may not have been your original vision, but this one is stunning , as always. Thank you for your time and patients. Lucky bunnies. x
My pleasure! 🐰
I’ve just learned about, and was googling, mop or flutter sander attachments for sanding carved legs.
Thank you for helping the bunnies. You truly are a special person. They are so precious and deserve the best life
You're very welcome! I agree completely! 🐰
I am constantly amazed how you take something hideous and convert it to something great!
Thank you so much Jane! 😊
Definitely not what I expected - but I love how it turned out. Especially the depth of colour at the bottom, and the contrast between the black finish and the inside of the drawers.
Good luck for the babies! I hope they all find good homes soon.
Wasn’t what I expected either! Hahaha but here we are, lol Hoping it raises lots of money. :-)
I love how you take all the knowledge you gained so far to turn a difficult piece into a beautiful piece. I wish I could have a bunny or two, but I have hound dawgs.
Thank you so much 😀
I am always glad to see you using Howard's. I can smell it when you open the bottle. one of my faves for many years now.
It does smell incredible!
"THE PUFF PIECE" Came out neat. The way U got the results U did were a learning 4 me. Pretty neat. Thx 4 all the explanations. Ciao
You're welcome! ☺️
I could see "Gothic Countryside" or "Dark Countryside" (??) being a unique aesthetic! In any case, it turned out beautiful, handsome even, which lends it some versatility.

Extraordinary transformation. I’m sure Puff approves.
I think she really does. 😀

The finished piece is beautiful. I think you would need a lathe to remove the dye stain from those legs.Wood turning is a lot of fun. Maybe that would be a good addition to your wish list.
Unfortunately putting them on a lathe would end with them being tiny little stick legs about the size of a pencil.
Love the bunnies.
Thank you! 🐰
It really did spiff up! Pretty.
Thank you so much!! 😊
One of my buns is called Puff too! He's a rescue and a cancer survivor, a real fighter!
Good luck with the raffle, the buns deserve it ;)
Thank you very much!! Give your Puff a snuggle from me!
Another beautiful; piece, I Love the rabbit's coloring.
She's beautiful isn't she?
The result is worth all the headache. I hope who ever gets this piece really appreciates it. It's also nice to see all the four legged friends during the rehab.

Thank you very much! 😊

Beautiful. ❤ Good decision. Those plugs are fugly. No one will notice the repair but you. Puff is darling.
I agree completely on the plugs, I can't stand the look of them.
Came out beautiful!

Looks good. I really like the drawer pulls. Much better than the original ones.
Thank you very much! 😊
Outstanding! You are too hard on your work. Thanks for the bunny updates.
My pleasure!
The black makes ot so contemporary. Nice🎉
Thank you very much! 😊
Turned out beautiful!

Puff looks like a Bunny Calendar Model. I believe his color guidance will be beautiful. Thanks Puff.🥕🥕🥕
Love it. Puff should be proud as your inspiration. It all looked like a matte finish as you went through each process, but it all came together really well with the final coat. ❤
Thank you so much for watching! 😊
So pretty! Puff shows to off well. ❤
She's an excellent model!
Wow very nice!

You truly turn everything you touch into gold. Your channel should be called Midas Touch
Wow, thank you!!
Hi Angie! Once again you absolutely amaze me. This piece is beautiful. ❤️ 🐰 ❤️
I'm so glad you like it Paula! 😀
Puff is gorgeous. I'd like to have rabbits but I'm sure my dogs would too.
Dogs can definitely make owning certain other animals tricky.
It looks so refined now. Thanks for all your hard work and inspiration ❤️
You're so welcome! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! 😊
Lovely job!!!!
Thank you!! 😊
