And she took the time to carefully hide the one thing that she thought could kill her instead of, say, melting it, throwing it in the middle of the ocean or destroying it in some other creative way. How very thoughtful of her.
Amazing video and build! For those who haven’t played the game yet like me, there are minor game spoilers but nothing too serious. If you want a clean gameplay, save the video and watch it after!
I personally prefer the Sword of Corruption, but I can get behind the Sword of Kas. There are a ton of designs for the Axe of the Dwarvish Lords, though. Some of them plain, some of them silly.
It's crazy to think that I've been following Matt and Ilya, since they were on man at arms and now in January I'm going to a school to study to become a blacksmith myself.
Whenever I see builds like this, where the piece has that 'grotesque' aesthetic, I keep remembering Ilya's short lecture on the topic back in the Sword of Artorias build. Idk why but his words really stuck to me. Grotesque but beautiful at the same time indeed. 😁😊
If I had the money I would get a family heirloom made by these guys. I've watched for years and the amount of skill, attention to detail and respect they exhibit on every piece is something that I'd be proud to past down from generation to generation.
I really hoped that the dagger became an upgrade for the basic knife, and I'm disappointed that it wasn't even a postgame unlockable. It has such a nice design, and you only see it for 15 seconds. You guys did it justice, and I'm glad it got this sort of attention. Also this is the first video I've found of you guys since you were on Man at Arms, so it's even better to see you're still working your magic bringing fictional weapons to life.
The carvings look just AMAZING. Will you give the dagger to capcom or will you keep it? I always wonder what happens with the weapons you forge, do you keep all of them?
I gotta say that I love these longer format videos more than the man at arms ones....showing more of the work going into the items forged is just so awesome....longer is better.
Alright, again requesting a sword from the Golden Sun serie ! Be it Felix's sword from the official art, or a reworked version of the Gaia Blade from Dark Dawn (with it's nice bronze finish). Or ('cause i got yelled at by the fandom last time lol) the Sol Blade, but that'd be quite a challenge to find a material that gives this crystalline feel.
The creator of Berserk passed away recently. I know you guys have done Dragonslayer before so perhaps a different weapon from Berserk as a homage to the passing of a legend. Maybe Gutz's pre-Eclipse sword? Griffith's sword? The Berserker armor would probably be too much but would be absolutely next level.
Love the skill Matt showed on the handle! I don't think i have the patience to practice carving with a hammer and chisel but if a beauty like this can be made with such tools I'm comfortable with, then I feel inspired to try it out.
So sad this didn’t get more backstory, but still a beautiful piece. Please consider trying out Daud’s Dagger from the Dishonored series. It’s looks to be inspired by the Charay blades of the khyber pass and it’s design in the game really spoke to the dastardly deeds he perpetrated with it. It even has a second finger guard in the hilt for that extra thrust and defense strength. Big fan you guys, please continue to show us your art!
The perfect length video to watch while my blades finished up in their coffee etch! Beautiful work by all of you and I can't wait to see you blade show pieces for this year!
I absolutely love this darker you don’t want to have a job of creating it and ever since that can come out I was hoping this would actually be a thing that they will build because it’s such a beautiful dagger .
I love all the freehand carving with power tools that can destroy all your work in a second if your attention wanders or your grip falters. That is skill.
Another amazing build by you guys!!! The Dremel work was incredible. Something that might be interesting for a separate project would be any of sung Jin-woo’s knives/short swords from the manhwa Solo Leveling.
That knife looks amazing!! You really nailed That carving!! Man, it would be could of you can make the Dark Dragon Sword from the first Ninja Gaiden!! It May be a big piece, but man, see That thing in real life would be totally awesome!
Another excellent build! I have unusual suggestion for a build: Robin WIlliams' sword from The Fisher King. It's a relatively simple blade, but the details are where it gets interesting...

Amazing job on carving the handle Matt the dagger turned out great. I think editing Matt could have made a bigger deal of getting to use the tiny hammer. The Ebony blade from Skyrim
Marvelous work everyone. Can't wait to see something from DnD. You guys are master craftsmen in all you do. I would love to learn from you some day. Keep it up.
