The “kickback” the dealer gets won’t happen if you refinance within 120 days.
It's amazing that the manufacturers are basically throwing their EPA fine aka Gas Gussler Tax back to the customer because their higher performance cars don't meet EPA regulations. I'm not sure how that tax is calculated for the amount charged the consumer, but the amount is included on your window sticker. You mentioned rebates. Most manufacturers have mentioned that the days of large rebates have ended.

I was looking at gas caps online (Literally just a snap on cover) and couldn't believe the prices thought I was getting joshed. Guess not! Appreciate all the info. Awesome car! Can't wait to get mine out. I'm in upstate NY so mines been garaged since early December. Only 200 miles on it from the drive home from Pennsylvania lol.

I was in Buffalo, NY moved to Erie, PA to work at Welches Makin good money. I'm buying one but damn it sucks can really only drive for 4 to 6 months a year..
You got a very good deal in my opinion. I paid $69,000 out the door in 2018…for a comparison. I love that color along with your carbon fiber options. That gas guzzler tax is such horse shit! I have a 2018 ZL1 with the A10…I can get 29mpg on the highway if I’m just cruising….total money grab.

Man I'm gonna start calling you "Que The Car Buying Guru!" You dropped so many gems on this one I don't even know where to begin... Actually I do have a question, when you chose the options on your ZL1 did you choose the navigation option or does that come standard?
Lol! We both buy a lot of cars. So for me, I will always pass on navigation on these new cars. Apple Carplay and Android auto got you covered and are standard. BUT, my 2019 Mustang GT had the small 4" poverty screen which didn't have Carplay. Also i doubt it had nav either

And yeah I never use android auto so I like having the built in navigation but I was curious if it came standard on the ZL1 I figured for the amount you're paying it should come standard.

If you wanted to go carbon fiber on the interior they sale the carbon fiber inserts that go over the radio on the steering wheel and the push start button to complete it going all the way across

Good video dude. I just picked up my 2SS 1LE that I ordered in September. Got a similar interest rate (2.99, rates just keep going up) and my payment is $598/mo. I almost got the ZL1 but the sound of the 2SS is incredible, I've had a lot of fast cars and I think it's the best sounding stock exhaust I've ever heard. Thanks for the content, subscribed.
The 2SS 1LE is the sweet spot to me. This is amazing for a stock exhaust.

yeah try the classic insurance. I got Grundy Insurance on my shelby GT500. no deductible. No issue. great video bro.
That's who i was working with. Nice! I need a better explanation of what they classify as enjoyment. They won't cover going to work and I would want to do that every now and then.
@@QueTheChaotic that was my initial concern. The agent I work with was like as long as you don’t drive it every day. Just every once in a while it’s cool. That’s stated on their website. But what I really like is that. Let’s say your car is value at 85k. If your car is totaled tomorrow or 8 years from now. They will cut you a check for 85k. As long as your policy is active. You can change the value at anytime. So if the value of your car goes up or down You can adjust your policy to that value. Grundy has been good for me.
Here’s the part of Grundy statement on their website.
Grundy wants you to enjoy your car, not keep track of mileage like some programs with limitations. Therefore, we give you unlimited miles for pleasure driving and in collector car-oriented activities. It is even OK if occasionally you drive your collector car to work to show it off to friends. However, your collector car must not be used as a daily driver. We require you and all licensed drivers in your household to have a modern car for everyday use.

Spot on with my Vivid Orange ZL1 in Cali, 35 down and rest financed through GM. Monthly payments are 814$ and I got it for around 75k after tax/license + all the extra fees.

A loaded ZL1 is 11k cheaper than a base GT500.
Its the opposite strategy of what i would do. Put down as much as you can and lower your monthly payments not to exceed 10% of your take home income, and invest in retirement. Pay it off early instead of 84 months. Especially for a toy car like this one.
You did good bro. Also, see you finally changed the intro a bit lol I got one question for you. I got finessed hard into getting Mechanical Breakdown Insurance. 100% my fault tho. On my paperwork tho it said it was 5700ish which is a bit absurd compared to the norm but I guess since the a 2SS could be classified as a "luxury" vehicle I'm assuming that's why. BUT the huge question mark is when I went to get my tag. They literally said I was being charged for 11k for the MBI. I tried to call the dealer to get clarify whether I was charged 5700ish or 11k but the guy was suppose to call me back and he never did. What do you think I should do? Cuz I paperwork saying it's one price but the tag place gave me a listed price for the vehicle and had the MBI at 11k.
I would physically go to the dealership. They always try to hide behind phone calls. I had the same thing happen to me. I bought an extra warranty. I felt like it wasn't worth it and canceled. They gave me a refund of the prorated cost. Camaros are fairly reliable. I would pass on it. I should make a video on these extras they sell

I was looking at getting a ZL1 (Non-LE) this year but recently heard that for the 2023 year model ZL1 LE Model only it will come with the LT5 engine which is the same engine that's in the C7 ZR1 at 755 horsepower and the regular ZL1 will get a 20 horsepower increase to 670. Is your ZL1 the LE model? I'm contemplating is the extra horsepower worth the decrease in comfort?
I am waiting to see if they go through with that. I would hop right back in line for one of those. I have a regular ZL1 (non 1LE). I haven't driven a 1LE yet

Car looks great! I work for GM, but according to our GM Family First website here in Canada, the ZL1 is not eligible for Employee Discounts, which is quite upsetting to me - I’d love to trade my 2015 Camaro in for a new one!

@@QueTheChaotic yeah, maybe… no dealerships around me have any stock of anything, let alone specific cars with all the right options, lol. I’ll likely have to order a new one and pay full pop, or else, hunt around for a used one built the way I want from a few years ago.
That blue really looks great though! I could get an SS 1LE with my discount, but the ZL1 just looks so much better than any other version of the current Camaro! You definitely picked the right car.
Rapid blue is killer. You did real well on the price. I do classic insurance thru Grundy on my fun cars … saves a good amount of cash. Plus it’s agreed upon value coverage so you don’t have to worry about fighting over recovery in the event of a total loss.

How does the GM discount work? Do you have to know someone personally or can any employee add you?
For the big discount, a mother, father, grandparent, aunt an uncle can give it to you. For friends and family, anyone can give you that. The big discount is generally $1.5 to $2k more.

What is the gas guzzler tax?
A price you have to pay for having a vehicle that has terrible gas mileage. You avoid this on used.
And did you ever think of getting a gt500 or maybe a hellcat??
I had a hellcat on the channel in March of last year. I haven't considered the GT500. I need to test one out

@@EscapeFPs I need some more time. I had a regular slim Hellcat and I felt like it didn’t handle well at all. I wanted a widebody but the dealership couldn’t build one for me. I need to see how the widebody handles. They are fun cars. Just a little wild. Definitely the best road trip car out of Detroit. Tons of room, great colors, a ton of trims.

That's what I heard. One person told me 30 days and another told me 1 year. If its a year then It makes no sense because they will treat the interest rate as a used car then
