I just bought this mouse yesterday. I've always used very basic mice and was extremely amazed on the flexibility of using the MX3. To be able to move back and forward in Chrome, switch between Windows tasks, and pan across larger open windows without touching the keyboard is a game changer. Being able to switch to another operating system on-the-fly makes this thing almost too good to be true. I'm very happy with my purchase even with the high price tag.
There is also a MX Master 3 MAC version which is the same as the other MX 3 models just comes in a nice black and silver finish. Also the MAC version works perfectly on Windows PCs.
I watched other MX Master 3 videos but yours was the best articulates and concise on wether one should buy it or not. Just ordered mine, wished Logitech gave you a small commission 🤣

I upgraded to master 3 a few days ago. The rubber under the thumb on the original master wore down so that a crack formed. It still works but is a little uncomfortable now. As for master 3, my only wish is that it would be a little wider. I got hands like shovels so yea :D
I own the 3S version of this mouse, 2 weeks in and the rubber is already showing signs of accelerated wear. Overall its a nice mouse but some anatomies might not agree with it.
Best review I've seen 👌. My only gripe is the horizontal scroll wheel, it goes the opposite way to the way you think it should go (in my opinion). I couldn't find any way of changing it. The main scroll wheel is the main plus feature, great for Revit, not regretting buying it.
Thank you! Not sure if you checked this already or not, But go through the computers mouse settings to change the scroll direction, not the Logitech application. Let me know if I can help you
Hi, If you customise the mouse for one computer and then switch to another computer, does the mouse keep the same customisation as the first computer? Thanks for your review.
I’m sorry I did not see your message, I do believe the mouse holds the same settings while transferring to a different computer, the only think in my mind that could alter that is if you have the Logitech configuration software on both pc’s where both are trying to tell the mouse what to do. You are welcome for the review!
@@TechGearwithZack Hey Zack, OK! You got me on your subscribers list with the clip on the middle button, watched several videos on the Master 3, and you point it out neatly. Just got it (on the mail) yesterday and I have been testing it (got it on discount price $80 USD). My daily driver is a Microsoft Sculpt Mouse, this is a nice one even though it is an old model. On the Master 3 the scroll wheel is awesome, I would say it is elite for real. The only thing I am missing from the Sculpt is the super feature on speed-scrolling (Microsoft) without taking off the finger of the wheel and scroll down very quickly. I love everything about MX Master 3. Maybe some of you are finding cons about this mouse so I'll tell the cons based from my experience. It is a little big/heavy, sometimes the mouse is lagging when you move it and the clicks are noisy. Wish they made the clicks silent.
I agree it is a tad big compared to other mice, especially if you are used to a lightweight gaming mouse. I have the same issue about lag but I have narrowed it down to a Bluetooth problem. Experiment with moving the mouse away from the computer next time it lags and see if that stops it. I have learned I can’t have my mouse too close to my monitor for some reason and as soon as I move it away it has no lag problems

The side scroll wheel does not work to increase or decrease the brush size in Photoshop CC 2021. I bought the mouse for this functionality and now I am returning it. For something that costs £89 I expected it to work as advertised. I don't know if it is an Adobe issue or a Logi issue.
@@TechGearwithZack Yes, I read many forums where users reported it worked before Adobe's update. And then another user mentioned that the Logitech software update broke this feature. In the war or these companies end users lose a lot.

I agree. Non of the reviews I have seen mention the scrolling issues. I love the mouse but the scrolling is unacceptable at this price range. Inconsistant, not precise and not responsive with quick up-down scrolls.
Great review! I was researching and I saw a whole bunch of people have scrolling issues a couple of months ago. I was wondering if you've had any issues with the scrolling since it is a couple of months later.
Thank you, no I haven’t had any issues with the scroll wheels, I think everyone is getting confused on how the system presets work, if the Logitech options app isn’t running on the machine it won’t swap profiles when using the mouse on different applications, I believe that is why the scroll wheel functions are acting up. At least that’s from my experience if I am working in Final Cut Pro and the side scroll doesn’t work I know the Logitech options software isn’t running, boot it up and everything is back to normal

@@TechGearwithZack super glad I got it! I really love it. I use it on my pc, just hooked it up to my macbook today actually.
