@@rodriguezkev exactly! I did a whole playthrough e. g. in Stray with UEVR. With only a few clicks and camera adjustment it feels like a polished AAA VR title, seriously.
Wasn't that hyped for it, regardless I was going to get this Day One to support Flat2VR, very excited for their output...that said, this made me genuinely excited for it.
Didn't expect so much support from Holy Wow in terms of updates and switch port, and adding a vr version is wild to me. Crazy that I have been playing this game for 2 years now too....
I played guitar hero religiously for years back in the day. Could get through 1-2-3 on expert. That, and I played trombone is 6-9th grade. I picked it up pretty quick after being 20 years of absence lol.
This looks like a lot of goofy fun. Fully plan to pick it up. I guess my one disappointment is that there are a lot of visual gags while you're playing in the flat version that don't seem to have made the transition to VR. Not sure if the team tried and they were too distracting, or nobody noticed them because of the focus required by the song, or if they just didn't think it'd work. Anyway there's still plenty of goof in this, so it's not a huge loss.
I love the idea of this game, I just have no desire to only play songs that are 100-200 years old. I don't care if there isn't any trombone in most music, let me rip a famous guitar solo on a trombone and then I'm down.
First I've heard of fansubbers becoming official anime translators, and how there's apparently a modding studio hired to make an official VR port? How does this work? Fan works are officially treated as downright crime, almost like terrorist level evil. So how can they call you a worst kind of criminal and then hire you officially? Doesn't that make them accomplice or at least like funding a criminal enterprise?
