I think turning green beans into green bean casserole is probably my top favorite way to turn a healthy vegetable into something I want to eat. Oh and canned carrots, drained, half a stick of butter and half cup of sugar till heated up.......Definitely a contender there as well lol
So was watching your video for the second time when my husband walks by and checks out what I am watching and yells that is how my mom made chicken do that. So now I am going to the store to buy more chicken ( we ate chicken two day ago fried } Thank you for putting the recipe I have heard about this chicken for a while now.
I have a great tip for you . Before you bake the chicken line the pan with parchment paper . You will have an easy cleanup . I also use parchment paper to line cookie sheets for very easy cleanup .
Top tips regarding dishwashing: 1. Start your meal prepping/cooking with a sink already full of hot, soapy water and wash more or less as you go. This leads nicely to 2. No running water as you wash up. Because you have 2 sinks, wash in one and rinse in the other; no running water as you wash up. It's so distressing for me to watch the water wastage I need to mention it twice. Plugs for your sink will eliminate the need to keep the tap running. Please 🙏
☆♡☆♡☆♡☆♡☆♡☆♡ My grandma had two kitchen sinks too. So she filled one sink with her soap water to wash, and one with clear water to rinse. Always starting with the least dirty pieces of course (cups, glases etc.) That's not only watersaving, but also much much easier & faster, bc. you just drown every piece in the clear water and will not have to rinse it from every side under the water jet.. (And that's the most annoying part of the whole tragedy imo. 😣) Maybe that technique could be your new favourite style too! 😄

First - I have to say - I love your Videos! I found you a few days ago and i ve been doing flylady for a year now, BUT you made me realize i was doing an put outdated Version. I use Mrs. Meyers dishsoap in the soapy side so it feels more fun. 2.) I turn on music. Fast music is usually the most fun to wash to, and dancing makes dishwashing feel like less of a chore. 3.) If I am just not feeling dishwashing but it has to be done, I pull up a chair (I have a long torso and we have short counters, so sometimes my back hurts after a while. Sitting down can help!). I still need to get up to put things away but it makes things so much easier.
Family time is so important... and I too have to hand wash dishes and yes the question is debatable is there even a bottom to the sink but on that note Amazon does actually sell portable dishwashers for around $300 to $400 that sit on your countertop they may not fit everything but it's at least something to make it a little more manageable.... you're welcome ❤️❤️

Our favorite team is…Dallas Cowboys. Y’all are the most adorable couple ever. Our least favorite thing is dishes. We are buying a house with no dishwasher for the first time in 26 years. It’s honestly a little terrifying. I know most people have them and we will install one with new cabinets so I’m looking at a year no machine. Could you do a video that shows how you keep up with them all day or even a quick one of dinner prep ones? I’m thinking running soapy water in a sink when you start cooking might be the best bet. It’s just been ages since it was a skill I needed. I love that you include your family. 💚
Wendy I have to admit, I'm not the best at keeping up with the dishes. I've learned that I need to do them at least every day or they get out of control, but I'm not very good about having an empty sink at the end of the night. It's a struggle I'm working on! I did a much better job at it when I wasn't pregnant though. It's hard not having a dishwasher... I'm just an imperfect person making TH-cam videos struggling just like the rest of us! 🤷♀️ So if you figure it out let ME know lol!

I love cucumber with Italian dressing, but I add a little lemon pepper seasoning to mine. Also, I love the blue stick-on tile in your kitchen, the contrast against those dark cabinets is so nice.
You guys are so cute and funny 😄 Doing the dishes is worse than cleaning the toilet, imo. I’m desperate to find a cleaning routine I can stick to 🙏 I too love an empty calendar 😅 I recommend inter-dental brushes for dental care. I always floss daily, and brush twice a day, but adding inter-dental brushes has been a game-changer.
If the dishes are really bad I try to make it “me time”. I put in my ear buds and listen to a book or watch a TH-cam video with phone propped on window sill above the sink.

Ours broke once and for a period of a month I think my husband was on his best behaviour helping with the kids in the Eve so that he never had to do dishes. He did them once all by hand and cried a little. It definitely handles 70% of the dishes so rest by hand is manageable.

I love cucumber with Italian dressing, but I add a little lemon pepper seasoning to mine. Also, I love the blue stick-on tile in your kitchen, the contrast against those dark cabinets is so nice.

I’m desperate to find a cleaning routine I can stick to 🙏 I too love an empty calendar 😅 I recommend inter-dental brushes for dental care. I always floss daily, and brush twice a day, but adding inter-dental brushes has been a game-changer.

If the dishes are really bad I try to make it “me time”. I put in my ear buds and listen to a book or watch a TH-cam video with phone propped on window sill above the sink.
I do the same thing! Makes it go by a little quicker.
@@ThatAwkwardMom I hope a dishwasher shows up for you. It definitely helps. Ours broke once and for a period of a month I think my husband was on his best behaviour helping with the kids in the Eve so that he never had to do dishes. He did them once all by hand and cried a little. It definitely handles 70% of the dishes so rest by hand is manageable.
