Taylor Swift and I talked about makeup on MySpace in 2006. Abigail and Drew were Facebook friends. Before iPhones existed and 1989 was only a year, possibilities were endless.
Yes!!why do you care? It's none of our business. Not to mention that not a single one of her fans truly know Taylor as a person. We just know what she wants us to know and that's ok, it's not a big deal and every celebrity does that.
I would get it if it was a right wing talk show or something like that. But that would have completely different implications. Some of these people seem either very young or very parasocial, you don't have to like everything your fave likes and vice versa.
Fearing that Taylor will run out of material to write about is subconsciously reinforcing the idea that her art is a “trick.” Like if she’s not suffering she can’t create good art. First of all, life is long. Reaching emotional stagnation at 35 is unheard of. Odd to think married people over a certain age can’t have experiences and epiphanies. Additionally, other artists don’t seem to raise this kind of suspicion. Painters, poets, and filmmakers create and innovate for decades (if they’re lucky)… but a 35-yr-old woman is dried up once she settles down? Y’all need to look inward lol note: this comment is operating under the assumption that she’s settling down anytime soon which we absolutely do not know and have no right to know. So there’s that too.
Not only that: it reinforces a very unsettling scenario that she widely expanded on in WAOLOM. The fact that she needs emotionally exhausting experiences to be able to make good music, and that’s what her fans want from her, to be constantly traumatised, sad, heartbroken, hopeless, and scared. I don’t know if they can understand that during one of her apparently happiest moments in life where she felt fulfilled under so many aspects, she released 1989. Like, what do these people even think of Taylor fucking Swift??
I'm happily married, but even being happily married doesn't mean you're finished bitching about men, not even close 😅 Taylor will have a lot to write about, aside from whether she remains in a long-term relationship.
I think it makes sense that the amount of amazing, powerful music she would come out with may be less as she ages and settles in her life more. Some of the most powerful music people come out with is about the start of relationships, at the end of them, or other intense or devastating scenarios.. this is true for all people not just Taylor, and one would expect those scenarios would happen less as she ages. But even if she does make less in the future, that doesn't mean she won't still come out with amazing music. Just maybe not as much as we've been fed up til now 😅
@@giuliabonechi1864 thank you! I'm not sure how exactly you made the correlation between what you said and WAOLOM, but I'm so here for it (I'm also extremely tired and that is probably why). On my first listen to this song I was like "wow. She's talking about fans.". And no one seems to say/understand that or even think about it? I think WAOLOM is way more about fans than critics and haters.
In high school, I had to write an essay on what makes Hester Prynne a heroine in the Scarlett Letter and I spelled it “heroin” every single damn time. So actually the Alchemy is about me.

New swiftie here (like 3 or 4 years now). These hot takes are crazyyyy, wdym you are happy she cut long live, THAT WAS CRIMINAL. I DIDNT GET IT IN MILAN, GIVE IT TO MEEEEEEE 😂
As a long time fan who've been around since 2010-ish, I actually prefer that she we don't know everything about her and that she's setting a clear boundary, especially with the growing parasocialism and criticism that fans are hurling towards her every chance they get. Taylor Swift the person doesn't owe us shit about her personal life, and you're not entitled to it just because you're her fans. In fact, I'd argue that you're not entitled to that kind of thing with anyone you know in real life, either. People share what they choose to share about themselves and you can walk away if it's not enough for you, but no one is obligated to give out intimate details, even if they're just innocent things like what they like or dislike.
If the Alchemy is not about Travis then why did Taylor at her concert announce it was her 87th concert which is Travis jersey number with Travis in attendance and then sing for the first time in her tour, The Alchemy.
@@florencehaber9847 I feel like it was going to be about Matty but they broke up and she added the trophy he comes running to me stuff later and then said it was about Travis. Or both. She's talking about chemistry between people, not a specific person.
@@florencehaber9847 you're replying to the wrong comment, but I will say it: she just changed the meaning. I'm a writer myself and honestly sometimes you start writing about something (or someone) that happened or that you're feeling and it kinda grows on its own. Sometimes though, you deliberately change it. Maybe she just didn't want to have such a cute positive love song related to Matty, even though it was initially written with him in mind. I just can't read your comment and take you seriously. It looks like you never thought it through before saying and that you have no knowledge at all of how a celebrity might operate on a PR mode (I'm not saying this is PR, but playing it on the 87th concert while he was there could be a deliberate choice to signal the song is about him even when it's not - which is kinda PR)
Regarding The Alchemy... I haven't seen anyone talk about the song order in the album. WHY would she add a love song with a "finally finding the one"-vibe, about Matty, RIGHT after she dragged Matty to bits in Smallest man?? Makes NO sense, neither in an artistic way of structuring an album, or an emotional way 😅 also, have we just dropped the understanding that a song could be about two people? That she could merge two different memories and feelings into one? One song could have multiple muses, or be a mix of real life and fiction. That's how I think the song was created.
I agree. And the song is called the alchemy AKA transforming one thing into another... I think she started the song about matty and put it down and then transformed it into one about Travis.
Oh. I just posted this 5 days later. I agree w you tho. I think it was started about Matty, but then that was a catastrophe and she added the Travis hints later.
That last caller... as soon as they used the term "fake news" I knew their game. They are conservative and want to be able to enjoy Taylor Swift without being reminded that their politics are hateful and unpopular.
She got bored and created the masterpieces that are folklore and evermore…like what? Of course she’ll never run out of material, what are these people on 😭
On the subject of not knowing her anymore...she does significantly less press and interviews than before, her social media is highly highly curated, functionally the only time she speaks to the fans anymore is in the music, and that is art, up for interpretation
I don't understand why y'all are nonchalant about Debut TV. I am WAY more excited for that than Reputation. And I can't wait to hear a 33 year old woman sing about Corey's eyes.
I'm a new card-carrying Swiftie and I feel bad about these new Swifties slandering my card. I respect her and she doesn't owe us anything. I think her rerecord project is incredible. If she takes forever to release it and forever to release new albums, I won't mind. It's her life and whatever she wants to share with us, I'll be forever grateful
57:12 I’m a Lana stan and I completely agree. It’s apples and oranges. They are two completely different lyricists, writers, songwriters, and artists. Totally different. I think they’re both incredible lyricists/songwriters and they’ve both got crowns (though I do think that Lana deserves more credit than she gets for her artistry). Edit to add: 1:00:05 I almost spit out my water 💀💀💀 (also, that message was conservative coded imo)
Some of these opinions... Do people actually think about Taylor Swift and her life when they listen to her music? Or do they treat her art like art and focus on how it makes THEM feel, the perspective it adds to THEIR own experiences, the relief when hearing lyrics that explain exactly what THEY were not able to put into words? Really, Back to December does not make me think of Tay2 or whatever we call the werewolf man interlude - that song and Midnight Rain allow me to safely explore the ouchie feeling of admitting when I was mean to a lovely man. Tsk.
I mean...the only reason why TTPD is now my favourite album is because of the Lore it adds 😭 but then again I consume music like how I read a novel; I take it in as a narrative and as an overarching story
@@KeepCalmContemplateYourChoices but it sounds like the lore that people enjoy is Taylor's life and not the lore of the song. Like when you read a book and a character cheats do you think to yourself, "I wonder if someone cheated on the author? I wonder who it was" Like with Folklore and Evermore do you like the lore of those worlds she created or do you like the lore of her life? (This is a genuine question, I'm just curious what you think) I have trouble separating the two and I feel like I think about her life TOO much when I listen. Unless I relate to the song like... a LOT.
@@KeepCalmContemplateYourChoices I understand following the story an album tells, similarly to reading a book. But it seems that some people listen to albums as if they're documentaries. There's caring about an artist, and then there's dismissing the art and it's effect on you for the sake of the parasocial relationship. While I appreciate a commentator like the Swiftologist doing analyses... Some of those entries made me wonder if those people even care about the music itself. Feels like I'm missing something.
I, personally, don't really vibe with Taylor Swift's discography so I'm not the right person to talk about her records, but to say that Reputation is her worst album just feels… wrong??
@@Mar1293yeah but the production really shines on it. I don’t think it’s a huge achievement for HER as an artist but I genuinely think it’s a really good album
I feel like The Alchemy was originally going to be about Matty, but Taylor later shifted it to focus on Travis. Some verses are packed with drug-related imagery-like heroin, chemicals, and hospital-while others are full of sports references-trophy, league, team. I think the sports imagery was added later. What’s brilliant is how it all ties into the concept of "alchemy," which is about transforming matter. In this case, she’s transforming the subject matter within the song. If that’s true, it’s pretty genius, but that’s just my theory-I have no solid proof to back it up.
Another theory I have is that Taylor may be living up to her honorary Doctor of Fine Arts degree by referencing Aristotle’s Poetics ("you know how to ball, I know Aristotle", but there is another hint). I read it during a Literary Theory class in my MBA program. To put it in simple terms, Aristotle defines poetry as an imitation of life, with comedy depicting men as worse than they are, and tragedy aiming to represent 'better men". I think Taylor is cleverly playing with this idea, suggesting in the album's summary that the worst men in her life have inspired her best poetry ("it’s the worst men that I write best.”). Truly a mastermind.
That's exactly my theory as well. I think Taylor does it quite often. I don't think Cardigan was really written about MH but she made it about him by dedicating it to him in 2023. So maybe The Alchemy was written about Matty but she made it about Travis.
But the hospital was matty and she says she's back from hospital at the beginning, it was never a matty song. The heroin mention is a DIG at matty not a reference to him and the chemicals is just the chemistry between her and the muse of the song which is travis
@@muskaan3711so you think she coincidentally wrote about being on winning streak, being the best in the league, trophies and football about her ex and then entered a rs with an actual successful footballer? 😂
I think The Alchemy is a return to the popstar Taylor, forget the men, this is about her being her best version. xD But I think The Alchemy is a complex song. It could started about Matty, but I think she might have altered it after starting to fall in love in Travis? In my mind, I think TTPD was meant with the sound of The Anthology - Black Down forward - and then things changed and she added the first have. Call me crazy, that is my hot take.
Long Live is perhaps the best moment of the entire Eras Tour 😭 I can’t believe a real person went to the show and didn’t LOVE that moment?!?! Long Live could even be the thesis of the Eras Tour in some ways ? Like… I just don’t get it
Alchemy: 1) Taylor played the song in Paris with Travis in attendance, right after pointing out it’s 87 Eras tour show. 2) During KelceJam Travis named Blank Space his number 1 favorite Taylor’s song and after that with a big smile he named SHS and Alchemy his 2 and 3. 3) During one of Taylornation’s music sessions they included 🏈 emojis while playing Alchemy. 4) There were a few times in Europe when Alchemy was playing when Taylor and Travis were living stadiums.
my personal unpopular opinion is that the term 'swiftie' has lost its meaning due to it being overcommercialised. I don't think it comes from Taylor or her team, rather it being used by external sources such as publications when discussing anything Taylor. what I'm trying to say, is being a casual listener to Taylor doesn't make you a swifite, and that's fine! for example, with other fandoms we don't see this overuse of fan names by just anyone. if your a casual enjoyer of Ariana Grande, your not referring to yourself as arianator. It reminds me of that one interview with Chappell Roan, where she talks about listening to karma, and is asked if she's a swiftie. She responds with something along the lines of 'I don't think I can say that because I don't know the lore or all of her songs'. its as though brands, and it even trickles down to something as simple as tiktokers or social media influencers using it to piggy back off the success of Taylor, particularly the eras tour. Because Taylor has such a large fan base anything with her name gains traction. But not everyone in that fan base is a swiftie, which again is fine!
46:37 What people need to understand is that relationships end and change regardless of what is done or said. We have several examples of this: in the secret Reputation sessions during Getaway Car, Taylor made it clear that she had already tried to get out of that relationship in different ways. So, the getaway car was nothing more than the final attempt that she knew would work to escape that relationship. But, that doesn't change the fact that her relationship with Calvin had already been in trouble for months before she got in the getaway car. Likewise, that doesn't mean that the brief, almost-relationship she had with Tom was any less meaningful because she has "codependency" issues. What happened was just life, they were at different stages and wanted different things, and that's okay. We can't always reciprocate the other person's expectations and desires for a relationship. In the same way that her relationship with Joe would have ended regardless and got ended regardless Maty Healy's action. It's not as deep as people think it is. It's just life.
Exactly!! *So* many people, even swifties, forget she is also a human being experiencing life for the first time. Her relationships, while very different due to her fame, are still human relationships. People change, they grow apart, they fall out of love after six and a half years.
@@emmmma143 I also think people forget Taylor's last experience as a normal human being was back when she was 16. Everything she learned about love after that was when she was _already_ in the industry and we know how Hollywood is with/about love. Is very problematic. What I mean by this is her last normal experience in dating was when she was a teenager. There's a reason she's always going back to "teenage" references for love on her songs. That's what she knows for certain.
MADELINE: "Long Live isa feature film. Long Live is a cinematic masterpiece and you not understanding that than I really can't help you." 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Swifticard revoked, Sir, if you ever actually had one.
8:47 I was grinning at the idea of the Reputation vault being a "loaded baked potato". love Madeline's ability to make the best and silliest metaphors on the fly.
Hope you guys will intellectually indulge this theory: The Alchemy is about a homecoming and Taylor loves to personify cities and countries as her love interests. The circling on the map refers to her coming back to America and more of an All-American/America's Sweethearts style relationship away from the stiff-upperlip associated with London ( London is Joe personified). The "coming back" may not refer to a specific person but a vibe/location/ease /power couple framework that she hasnt had in a while. I think the touchdown and trophy metaphors are pointed if you look at it through this lens.
Let me clear up one things, these new swifties give us such a bad reputatioonn. Like, I knew Taylor for a long time but I only became a compromised swiftie when she released Midnights, that is fairly recent, still I understand simple concepts like SHE DOESN'T NEED TO TELL EVERYTHING ABOUT HER LIFE or that she is behaving ¿¿PREDATORY??? in a X Y Z manner. I believe these people are just chosing to be dense and dumb just because, we new swifties don't claim them.
I was an Alchemy denier, at first. But she replays the AFC Championship game in the bridge. There's no denying it. I've been a KC fan for 30 years. "We" weren't supposed to beat the Ravens. Jason took his shirt off. Beer was spilled everywhere. The trophy was on the dias, but he ran to her. 🏈❤️
Remember that she played The Alchemy for the first time as a surprise song on show no. 87, which was also the first show post release of the album where Travis was in the audience
I very rarely listen to debut because of the vocal quality, so I'm very eager for debut TV so I can comfortably listen to some of my favorite songs from high school again!
It DOES have both of them in the song, so yeah, I'd say so. Nobody wants to admit that it is possible she's singing about the feeling of chemistry between people and not about one person specifically.
Honestly my biggest "controversial" opinion about Taylor (and most of Stan/online celebrity culture tbh) is that some Swifties feel absolutely entitled to her and do not know where the healthy boundary is between fan and severe parasocial relationship. From remanding Rep TV to the whole Vienna situation where people are STILL commenting under TN posts about how she betrayed them, to picking litetal teams on Joe vs Travis on who's the better boyfriend and who treated her better to even more extreme instances like showing up at Jack's wedding rehearsal. LIKE AS A BIG FAN OF TAYLOR THIS IS REALLY, REALLY WEIRD, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT BLEEDS INTO REAL LIFE SITUATIONS. It seems to be getting worse recently. People need to realise that YOU DO NOT KNOW TAYLOR!! YOU DON'T KNOW ANY OF THESE PEOPLE! I know in the past she has been very open and interacted with fans more often, which certainly has exacerbated the situation, but today every single facet of her public persona is calculated, even down to when her photos are taken by paparazzi (I'm not saying its entirely fake, just that she only shares what she wants to). We know barely anything about her day to day as a regular person in the slightest, and to feel entitled to any part of this woman who you don't know and are purely a customer of is crazy. You touched on it in the video, but truly why are people getting upset thar Taylor is watching something that you personally didn't think she would based on what she shares online 😭. Like you both said, do we really need to know? Is it really any of our business? And I find it baffling that some people find the answer for that to be yes. I can't help but think of Chappell in this situation and her disdain for the entitlement people feel towards her, and from recent songs/her Europe wrap up post it seems like she may be feeling the same. Although Taylor is on a completely different level to Chappel, I think the principal is the same that Taylor is just another random woman who you truly don't know, no matter how hard you relate to her lyrics or how much lore you know, and I think people need to realise that before they put so much emotional weight and opinions on the actions of Taylor.
That first confession was so mumbly I don't know half of what the caller said. "Shshebaj is a dumb song." I can't even be outraged because I have no idea what they said.
These new fans will be so outraged when she goes back to releasing new stuff once every 2 years... they have no idea how blessed these past few years have been and that they were the busiest for us. But I'm here since the Speak Now release, and I was used to living in an era for 2 years! I spent 2 years crying over Back To December until I had something new from Red. Stop complaining and also stop demanding for new albums because we are in the middle of the TTPD era!!!
What if I said I stopped being a swiftie (casual regular listener) because I saw the community was starved back during speak now and red (I’ve never known how to use tumblr) so I just walked away to be fed elsewhere?
@@ia490 well, it probably wasn’t the right choice, because I don’t have all of the exposure to understand Taylor as a pop star, but to end on a brighter note, yes I’m happy for all of us that we’ve such a glorious era to enjoy Taylor the pop star
My probably not "hot take." I like the rock versions of Reputation Tour more than the released album. In a re-release, I'd like the rock-in-role versions please. Or give me a "Tour Version" of the album. If that's allowed.
I’m over the “folklore isn’t fictional she lied!!” thing. Like clearly TLGAD is about her house. Clearly my tears ricochet is about her masters. Peace about how she was feeling with Joe. Epiphany isn’t fictional. She never said it was completely fictional. The love triangle was a fun fictional project. But yes, it can be still based on real life experiences. Two things can be true.
Yes!! And it's not like authors don't pull from their own life experiences as well, why is it suddenly lying when Taylor does it? That's what I don't get lol
Saying that cutting Long Live from the setlist is a good thing is INSANE. You can immediatly guess this person is a newer swiftie. Which is not a bad thing in itself, but becomes one when you have this kind of horrendous takes. And no I'm not overdramatic, it's just that I was in Paris N1, and I'm definitely still at the restaurant.
I got to hear it live for Seattle N1 with my best friend and we literally hugged and cried the entire song, and as a debut swiftie who’s only gotten to see her for 1989 & eras, it’s engrained in my memory forever 🥹🩷 I feel for all the swifties and besties who got it cut from their set list
What I don’t understand is if the alchemy is about matty heely why would Travis say it was one of his favorite songs and why would she make a point to sing it at the 87th show?
with the one about taylor jumping from relationships to relationships, i think zach had so much more to say but saw how it kind of personally affected madeline so he kept it short lol. hes such a real one for that tho

41:35 My tinfoil hat theory on The Alchemy being about Matty or Travis is that she wrote it about Matty, but it just so happened that the Tayvoodoo kicked in and The Prophecy prophecied so hard that she ended up dating a football player and it just works with all the football metaphors anyway so she repurposed it for Travis in the Eras after the fact.
This was a great episode. I’ve been watching Zach for a long time. I’m so glad you are putting these on the tube cause now I get to know Madeline and I’m really liking her.
I am so excited for the Taylor's Version re recordings of her debut, 'Tim McGraw' is one of my favorite songs, I would love another generation to meet that song!
I have to disagree with the alchemy statement. She said in the time magazine article that they started dating in July so she had more than enough time to write something especially if she was having bubbly feelings that she was falling in love. ALSO, if she’s going to go as far to reference suing someone for stepping on her lawn in waolom then it’s CERTAIN she would reference the put Travis on the map meme. Also she lurks on TikTok so she definitely saw that meme. Also it’s possible it could’ve been a last minute addition like forever and always was
There’s the “even if it’s handcuffed, I’m leaving here with you” and then she’s being released from handcuffs in Fortnight video. Isn’t Marty “the hospital” then?
I enjoy the caller aspect of this video. Would love to see you try to do live calls as well so you can ask them some of the questions that were coming to you after hearing their unpopular opinion
This!! There are podcasts that do live calls on the pod! They are soooo much fun and are wildly funny! They are really hard to master tho it can be a miss. I would love to test drive that format someday!
I really appreciated what Chappell said in regards to her opinions. I thought it was brave and interesting. I wish Taylor tried that method, regardless of the negative impact. This is my personal opinion.
@@Elway07-o4s well, I love people that are brave and try and fail. And Taylor is definitely the type to try and fail with other things. Either way, she’s obviously not interested in the smoke of politics. I personally am interested in the smoke of politics.
We had the second night of Long Live (KC night 2) and we had assumed it was just for Speak Now TV release day (the day before us) so we were gagged and my friend was bawling with joy. One of my favorite moments in the entire setlist! 💜💜💜
It made me so happy to hear you drag the ever living hell out of the person who sent in the "I'm glad Long Live was cut...btw I got If This Was A Movie for my secret song." DRAG HIM, take him out back, read him his Miranda rights and send him away for life for that opinion. Maddie was 100% correct, Long Live is cinema, Long Live is Life. Of all the Taylor Swift songs, Long Live is one of the last songs I'd ever expect to be disliked. TLDR: DRAG HIM (Long Live Hater).
I think she’s trying to retroactively turn The Alchemy into a song about Travis by saying things like “everything he touches turns into magic and fun” which is what an alchemist would do. On top of performing it for Travis as a Surprise song
Hearing all this that people had to stay constantly reminded me of what Zach talks about in his Chappell Roan video. It honestly mind boggling how much people misunderstand and overestimate the depth of the parasocial relationship they have with the artists. They are so delulu that most of them forget that any other experiences outside of theirs can exists and the artist had a life before they got to know them (for the newer fans that judge without actually knowing Taylor but just repeat the media and haters as their unpopular pinions). As fans, our association is with Taylor Swift the brand, the musician, not TAYLOR SWIFT THE PERSON!!
that cat opinion was insane ngl. objectively speaking, taylor swift hasn’t shown her cats recently, but that doesn’t mean that she doesn’t care about them 😭😭 just because they aren’t on display for all to see doesn’t mean she’s a neglectful cat mother. i’m sure she still loves her cats (or at least, i hope so). we don’t know taylor, so we can’t go around making wild assumptions about her character.
The cats (specifically Meredith) just don't like getting their pictures taken. That's it. She had an intermission clip during the 1989 World Tour that showed Mer and Olivia. They did not want to cooperate and run away whenever they sense a camera lens facing them. I don't get why a staggering amount of people want to show off their pets to post on social media all the time, that's my unpopular opinion - including the people who use their own profiles as an extension of their pets for income who post every day.
God you are so RIGHT about Long Live. Girl, it's the ERAS tour. It's a celebration of her legacy!! That song is literally her telling her fans to never forget about the magic she and her fans have made all these years. I dont know how thats not fitting into the setlist at all. It's an important song for the long time fans and the Eras tour is the BEST avenue for us to scream-cry those lyrics back to Taylor.
First - love you guys!! I'm way too deep in the taylor lore and I agree w almost everything you say - one thing, I don't want to think The Alchemy is about Travis but I feel like is one of those blended songs - like it's about both of them. I feel like she retrofitted a song about Matty with the "blokes on benches" nonsense / "shirts off" bridge to make it seem like she was talking about Travis to give him some minor space on TTPD. The whole thematic return to old flame / hospital was a drag aspects are def about Matty, but I actually think the beer / guys / benches stuff is a heavy handed way of giving trav some more airtime
But she doesn't talk about reurtning to old flame she literally explains she is back drom hospital, who we know is matty because of the imagery and metaphors she used for him vs for Joe who she called prison
Please do another of such a video 'cause this one was filled with non-sense 'unpopular opinions'. These seemed more like forced thoughts in the moment to come up with say whatever they think of to send them out 😂

Because everyone WANTS from her! The crowd was yelling MORE! They want makeup influencer 😭
Y’all need to look inward lol
note: this comment is operating under the assumption that she’s settling down anytime soon which we absolutely do not know and have no right to know.
THIS. All of this.

Taylor literally endorsed a democratic presidential candidate, and we still have people who say her politics are not knowable.
Politics are a lot more than a vote. It includes her beliefs and values, not just that she hates Trump. She had to clear up the AI bs.
She's been loudly supporting gay rights and women's rights for like a decade. I'm convinced most people post and comment before even attempting to Google literally anything.

I hope that when the trauma isn't as fresh you two will do another UO episode because this one was extremely entertaining.
@@florencehaber9847 wrong person bud
(I was question two) Well. I was feeling honest. Even if none of us are entitled to her random opinions, I’ll still ask for them.
@@cynrok that's what I thought as well!!

Fair point, but Taylor has never been “good” at telling a story through the track order. So I wouldn’t personally put much faith in that

I wonder who it was"
Like with Folklore and Evermore do you like the lore of those worlds she created or do you like the lore of her life?
(This is a genuine question, I'm just curious what you think)
I have trouble separating the two and I feel like I think about her life TOO much when I listen.

@@Mar1293yeah but the production really shines on it. I don’t think it’s a huge achievement for HER as an artist but I genuinely think it’s a really good album
Curious… What r u doing here?
I think The Alchemy is a return to the popstar Taylor, forget the men, this is about her being her best version. xD
But I think The Alchemy is a complex song.
Like… I just don’t get it
"how can the speak now set drag when its only one song" Omg i died, like yes what is there to drag?
Alchemy:
1) Taylor played the song in Paris with Travis in attendance, right after pointing out it’s 87 Eras tour show.
Long Live is a cinematic masterpiece and you not understanding that than I really can't help you."

I really appreciated what Chappell said in regards to her opinions. I thought it was brave and interesting. I wish Taylor tried that method, regardless of the negative impact. This is my personal opinion.
@@JulianaMcKenna It will never be enough to satisfy some groups. Nuance dies on social media. They will say it is too much or too little.
This was valid! Long live Long Live ❤
I think she’s trying to retroactively turn The Alchemy into a song about Travis by saying things like “everything he touches turns into magic and fun” which is what an alchemist would do. On top of performing it for Travis as a Surprise song
WHO IS THAT FIRST TWINK?!?!?!
PITCHFORKS! TORCHES! BOMBS!
its me and im a girl i just have a low voice lmao
@@sunnyincognito9260 gagged sorry queen

Slaying!
But hey if you are going to cuz you feel it that’s cool too 😊
The thumbs down for dorothea, then the immediate retraction and look of shock made me cackle out loud 😭
Never a dull moment with you two! You both are amazing, super intelligent and funny. Thank you! 👏
My Swifty card is from Debut and I am a 49 year old mother of three and only my son loves Taylor Swift with me and here he is about 21 this son
i suck at committing and returning to a podcast regularly, but yall keep me coming back!!
London n7 was my show, Long Live was my first surprise song and I would not change that for the world!
The second caller should be in no way surprised if the FBI shows up on her doorstep 😅
I love these podcast videos😭 Madeline is such a vibe😭
So true
Haven’t we all seen the video where Travis is clearly petting a cat when they where all in London the first few shows?
I love love Dorothea. It’s a relaxing song.
I agree that we need Taylor to do her versions so she can own her work. This is a part of her journey AND her lore.
The way ny jaw dropped at so many of these omg... Yall were not lying when you said these are unpopular opinions
Well to be fair it’s hard to not like an album after listening to it for the first time in Taylor’s living room
Riding out this hurricane so thank you for the content 😅 yall brighten my day all the time!
Me too,stay safe!
Good luck! Stay safe!
These seemed more like forced thoughts in the moment to come up with say whatever they think of to send them out 😂
Yk you’re not wrong (I was question 2)
I have commented this before but i cant stop myself Your hair is GORGEOUS!!!!
this is really random but I feel like Zach's skin is absolutely glowing lately 🔥
My unpopulair opinion: I'm not really excited for reputation (tv) . But the only reason for that is that i have a bad phobia for snakes....
