Is Audi lying about the 2024 RS6 performance hp? dyno test proven!

  • This 2024 RS6 performance made over 600whp on @solomotorsportsatlanta dyno, on pump 93 Oct with under 900 miles on the odometer. I think it'll do even better once the engine and transmission is broken in a little more.
    I can't wait to see what it does with some custom Carchitect Designs parts on it. @carchitectdesigns on ig.

    I love how people are acting like this is just solid or not bad at all. 611whp is a lot of power and on par with a ZL1 a Hellcat a Z06 and 200whp more than a scat a ss a s650. Granted it cost more but these numbers are impressive. We’ve all been bamboozled by the 1000hp expectation and what used to be hard to achieve 500whp or more feels “solid “ or “not bad”. These things are ANIMALS right out the box and these numbers support the hype IMO. Can’t wait to see what it does after some mods.

      💪🏾💪🏾🫡 That's all FACTS! I'm building parts for it right now. I can't wait to see the gains as well. No tunes available for the performance as of yet but I'm working with some people on that too.

    This is misleading. Graph says 531 wheel power which makes a lot of sense in this case. 611 is estimated motor power (which is what manufacturers usually state) not accounting for drivetrain losses.

    • @carchitectdesigns
      @carchitectdesigns  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Theres absolutely nothing misleading about anything in this vid! Mustang dynos and dynojets read differently. Neither of then measure crank. The 531 is the mustang dyno equation the 611 is the dynojet numbers TO THE WHEELS! In the USA, "we do not measure crank hp on the dyno." Period!

      thats what im saying , because in order to make 611 whp you would need to make about 700 crank and audi is not doing that even if they give you a bit more than stated

    611 is not bad at all. I know it's going to be crazy for what you about to do

    Where tf you been man?? 611hp on an awd dyno is legit for any stock car. Imagine when you let it breathe and tune it!

    so if at wheel its 611,at crank ? how many

    • @carchitectdesigns
      @carchitectdesigns  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Well the general rule of thumb when converting crank into wheel hp or vice versa is between 10 and 15% difference. Also, I'm not sure where you're from but in the U.S. we don't measure crank hp when on the dyno. Only wheel hp. As someone already stated on this thread. Mustang dynos read low and the most widely accepted equation in motorsport is the dynojet equation which is why you see mustang numbers and then the dynojet conversion. But to answer your question, at the crank that car is making around 700hp give or take.

      @@carchitectdesigns holy..yea im from europe and here we are talking at crank not wheel..wow.

    • @carchitectdesigns
      @carchitectdesigns  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @jdeejax, yes, I've noticed that in Europe, you guys measure crank hp. Drag racing is a huge part of car culture in the US so we only measure what the car makes to the wheels on the dyno over here.

    Pause the graph display. Wheel hp is 531.8. Estimated Dynojet HP (presumably at the crank), is 611.57. This guy is as slow as his speech.

      @rag4305 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I'm not sure why you felt the need to insult him. He hopped on a Mustang Dyno (which are known for producing low power figures) and made 531.8 which is 611.57 Dynojet wheel horsepower not Crank.

    • @carchitectdesigns
      @carchitectdesigns  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @rag4305, what i dont know is why he even decided to weigh in on something he's obviously clueless about. 🤷🏾‍♂️ whoever that person clearly knows nothing about performance and definitely knows nothing about how dynos work. 😂

    • @carchitectdesigns
      @carchitectdesigns  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@rag4305 Not to mention. We don't measure crank hp on dynos in the US. 🤦🏾‍♂️ what an idiot!

    • @crosbiewatler3196
      @crosbiewatler3196 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Your point being? This guy blurts out at 3:45--"611 to the wheels". I'm simply pointing out that was incorrect--it was 532 to the wheels. And why "weigh in"? I think truth is important, particularly when claims like this might influence how people spend their hard earned money.

    • @carchitectdesigns
      @carchitectdesigns  18 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Ofcourse 611 wheel hp. Dyno jet numbers. Mustang dyno was 530 something. Do you not understand how dynos work?

    • @pinchers1
      @pinchers1 9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@carchitectdesigns i have been driving audi for over 20 years from the b5 rs4 to the the c7 rs6 and now 2017 s8 plus so i know audi the car makes 630 crank so in order for it to make 611 wheel it would have to have about 700 at the crank and you are not getting that from the factory even when the deliver more than stated. but ill just have to take your word for it.

    • @carchitectdesigns
      @carchitectdesigns  วันที่ผ่านมา

      Well, it's as plain as day. You see the mustang dyno numbers, and you see the dynojet numbers. The more universally accepted dyno readings are dynojet numbers. They're there for all to see, so what's to believe or not to believe? The car made 611 wheel. Clearly audi is under rating what the car makes to the crank. It's just that simple. I also have had many audi's from Rs5 to a gen2 TTR8 that I built with my hands to another R8 after that, the list goes on. I have countless hours on dynos. Believe or don't believe whatever you want. The proof is in the pudding, tho. 🤷🏾‍♂️ Welcome to 2024. That's what many European manufacturers are doing now. BMW has actually been doing it for years.
