But the chile season is a family thing we get a HUGE sack of Roasted chile and we gather around a table and peel and de-seed it. But it does burn your hands! do you need to wash off your hands with baking soda and dawn. I’ve been lacking though and I’ve been buying it already frozen

That’s so funny! I went to the bathroom in our grocery store this past Monday and the soap smell hit me in the face and immediately I’m like “that’s awful! All these bathrooms have the same awful soap” and I never paid any mind to it before. But for some reason on Monday it really irritated me 🤣
Not me naming my cat Frank to be funny and Coleen saying “no Frank isn’t funny” 🤣 I had a cat growing up named Robert though too and it cracked me up too
My pediatrician’s office has a symptom search on their website and it is very detailed and lets me know when/if I need to bring them in for an appointment. It’s been very helpful. I go to that instead of Google every time something is going on with my kids.
Fun fact about bread tabs: they can get brittle and break apart into sharp bits of plastic. It happened to us and we lost a piece and my baby swallowed it and we had to go to the er. We throw them away immediately now and use chip clips
I hate those square bread clips. They serve absolutely no purpose. Did Erik’s family ever cut their Irish Spring with a knife? I get what you’re saying about pet names, but it’s hard to explain why some names are funny and some aren’t. Lucy, Sammy, Bella, Gus and Daisy are typical pet names. Larry, Carol, David, Janet and Walter are not. Why is that??
I named my cats Sophie James and Charles 'Charlie' Dean. Charlie is 6 months old, so I say 'So sorry Charlie' and 'Cheer up Charlie' to him all the time as he drives me crazy. I'm a single, childless, cat lady so this all tracks. 😂
Our rescue dog is named Charleyne! That’s the name she came with & we think it’s so funny but honestly she is a Charleyne. & we love her. She’s a German shepherd 😁
Omg I just got one of those Mickey Mouse soap dispensers at the thrift store and can put whatever foaming soap I want in it and it is a huge hit at our house with my 6 year old and 3 year old.

Second… Facebook mom groups are where one asks “what’s this rash?”. They are notorious for that question and aplenty. Make yourself a fake profile and get in there.
I talk about this pet naming idea all the time. It’s only funny if it’s a common human name. Kyle, Andrew, Michelle, Jessica, Ashley, Jonathan, Daniel, etc all work! 😂
Does anyone remember when Erik was talking about inventing an app that can tell you what rash you have? It was in a vlog when they were in Hawaii. He called it Hello Rash 😂
Dog named Rebecca. Cat named Elizabeth. Rabbit named Edward. These are names that are funny. Sally, Max, Daisy, Sadie. All normal names for animals lol

Colleen I totally understand what you mean about funny human names for pets!! I met a corgi named Greg and thought it was so hilarious, but I don’t know if the owners knew it was funny or if they named him Greg seriously 😂 Another thing I like to do with pet names is give them long ridiculous “formal” names. I have two dogs - Bojack Bones Jones Jarvis and Sir Doctor Mr Peanut Butter. Btw I’ve been watching since I was 12 and just turned 25 today!!!
I know what you mean about the names! My partner and I were just CACKLING over the idea of naming a dog “Deborah.” Other funny pet names we came up with: Derek, Chad, Brenda, Michael. Can you imagine saying “Michael, go potty!”
When I was about 4yrs old we got an Orange Tabby, and it was my job to name the cat, I named it Benny Hill. SHE went on to have several litters of kittens! lol! (Benny Hill was an old English comedy, I used to watch it my grandparents. Totally inappropriate for a child, but I didn't understand wtf was going on. Also, always called the cat by it's full name!)... When I moved out and got my first apartment, my mom got me a kitten for my birthday, I let my baby sister, who is 16yrs younger than me, name my cat, she said "I think we should call him Free Willy!". Most of us just called him Willy though 😉
Had to share our fun cat names with you. Our first cat was named Stone, after Stone Phillips (he was gray too). Our second cat, who sadly departed this world in July, was named Doctor Bellows. The kitten we got to be a playmate is named Amanda Bellows. Our new kitten is named Barbara Gordon, but we call her Barbie for short. She looks like a baby bat, Batgirl is the alter ego of Barbara Gordon.
I HAVE A THEORY ABOUT THE SOAP!!! First of all, I couldn’t agree more with Colleen. 💜💜💜 It’s one of the most vile smells on the planet. (The liquid bathroom ones) I think, what happened was that they invented and PRODUCED all of it in the 80’s, and made like a billion gallons at once, and haven’t made new soap since…(for DECADES!) My husband doesn’t believe me when I tell him either, but it is NASTY! And I’m almost certain the bad smell, considering it keeps getting worse, is because the soap is EXPIRED and therefore has a STALE smell! I’m tellin’ ya dude! It smells like cheap, old, rotten, and stale soap 🤮 It drives me CRAZYYYYYYYYY!!! They have it in churches a lot too 🤮 I almost would rather just not even wash my hands, honestly. It’s vile. And it takes forever to get rid of it too! You have to wash your hands at least ten times to get the stench to go away… 🤢🤢🤢
Erik knows very well that Colleen will not impulsively get a cat, she will keep thinking about it for years before taking action. It either has to show up on their doorstep or Erik shows up with one.
Erik has the same sense of humor as my Gen X dad. My dad named his orange cat Frank and thinks it’s absolutely hilarious. My girl cat’s full government name is Rosalind Franklin after my favorite scientist, but we call her Rosie. Colleen, you should google Rosalind Franklin because I think her story would infuriate you. She discovered the shape of DNA, but two men stole her work and then won a Nobel prize for it

My former neighbor has a toy poodle with a high-pitched bark named Gary. 😂 And when I worked at the SPCA, there was a cat named Kevin and we all got a kick out of that. Yesterday I met a tiny kitten named Michelle. 😂 So yes, Colleen, there are certain human names that make very funny pet names.
I have to comment on the bread clips. I work in a grocery store, and we get all sorts of food that is supposed to be sealed but has already opened by the time we receive it. You know what we do? Shove the food back in the package, re-clip it, and put it on the shelf. And yes you’re right, it is very unsanitary.
I have two ginger and white cats. They are rescues and came with their names but we LOVED the names. Bob and Boris. I feel like this counts as the funny names. And they so suit their names!
We named our family cat “Carl” for that exact reason. We thought a human name for an animal is so funny and we think it’s hilarious. And we also named our dog Gus because he is kind of a clumsy and goofy dog.
Honestly, people that get “furious” because somebody doesn’t understand something ,is ridiculous, they need to RELAX, gently educating people on some thing is all we need to do, I know you guys don’t like to offend people but Eric did not need to apologize
We have 8 chickens. Penelope (not funny), Little Peep (she’s like the size of a pigeon), Ember (she’s a beautiful light gold color), Goldie (deep gold color), Lacy (not funny), Candy (not funny)….but the best ones are Karen and Patrice. And they very much live up to their name!
Erik did NOT understand the pet name thing at all hahahaa Colleen was trying so hard and I totally get what she meant and erik was just there. Which made the whole bit funny tho cause I too was frustrated with him and laughing so much.
I agree with Erik on the foam soaps IN PUBLIC PLACES. The foam soaps for home are nice, but the refill is silly expensive. You can just refill them with regular soap and mix it with water, at least that’s what I do.
On the topic of bread clips, I think on most or all loafs of bread have a layer of plastic on the outside with the design and another clear sealed layer around the bread. I also heard somewhere that the color of the bread clip has to do with the day it was baked. Monday: Blue Tuesday: Green Thursday: Red Friday: White Saturday: Yellow Love you guys! ❤
Recipe for you White American cheese 1lb Milk 2-3 tablespoons Canned Hatch chillies one small can Optional: jalepeno juice and very finely diced jalepenos Melt the cheese slowly and add milk as it melts, once melted add chiles and jalepenos and juice. Let combine and cook about 2-3 minutes over low heat. BEST WHITE QUESO EVER

Colleen, I think you got this one wrong. The worst smelling hand soap is in a hospital/NICU. I had a 31 weeker and had to wash my hands with that soap 3 to 4 times a day when she was in the hospital. If I smell it nowadays, 14 years later, I still have a trauma reaction.
Hahaha I totally get the pet name thing! That’s why I love the name Philly Cheesesteak because calling such a cute little baby Phil is so funny 😂 (Really hope my question ends up getting you a new cat Colleen 😆)
I totally agree that foam soap is awful. I remember in elementary school when they changed from regular hand sanitizer to foam, and I would avoid it as often as I could. I do think Erik's pure anger at Colleen not feeling the same is hilarious 😂 but that's how I feel about bar soap. It's pure evil

My family shares a bar of soap. I'm over 40 and have done this my entire life. That is why we use wash rags... get the rag soapy and wash yourself....

Recipe for you
White American cheese 1lb
Milk 2-3 tablespoons
Canned Hatch chillies one small can
Optional: jalepeno juice and very finely diced jalepenos
Melt the cheese slowly and add milk as it melts, once melted add chiles and jalepenos and juice.
Let combine and cook about 2-3 minutes over low heat.

Colleen, I think you got this one wrong. The worst smelling hand soap is in a hospital/NICU. I had a 31 weeker and had to wash my hands with that soap 3 to 4 times a day when she was in the hospital. If I smell it nowadays, 14 years later, I still have a trauma reaction.

I totally agree that foam soap is awful. I remember in elementary school when they changed from regular hand sanitizer to foam, and I would avoid it as often as I could. I do think Erik's pure anger at Colleen not feeling the same is hilarious 😂 but that's how I feel about bar soap. It's pure evil
