Just this morning before watching the video I paired together a light bubble gum pink lace top with a black knee length skirt. I love cool, pale pinks. The bright, intense pinks overwhelm my Soft coloring type. If I had different coloring, I would wear bright pink and orange together, with white accessories, I love it. Pink and red, too. I just got a beautiful burgundy and lighter cool-pink patterned silk dress (Equipment?) that suits my coloring perfectly and is my favorite dress I’ve ever found. These colors work on me because they are cool and on the soft side. It was on sale, too, but I was going to buy it anyway, so this was a happy surprise.
Just yesterday I had a huge struggle with pink, putting together monochromatic/different shades of pink with different undertones. I ended up wearing something different as I just couldn't put a pink top with my pink bottom. I even tried a denim top with the pink bottom and just couldn't make myself do it. I ended up with the denim shirt and olive pants. LOL

My shoes were a pale shade of pink, almost neutral and my jewelry was a couple of strings of pearls. I got lots of complements. I have also worn a bright orange short dress with a fushia scarf belt. The bright combo of pink and orange hails back to Liz Claiborne in the 80s, I believe. Fushia and Tangerine.

We have similar hair color and skin tone. Magenta-fushia is a great color on me, too. I’ve gone a bit overboard on adding flare pants, strappy heals, shorts, skirt, and a silky oversized shirt in that color. The shoes and pants were already in my wardrobe luckily and go well with the other separate s. I don’t get to wear many bright colors near my face, and the new pink pieces paired with all my neutrals and lighter pinks that I had. I’m sure to watch this video multiple times since you have such great ideas. Thanks 😊
I have a red headed friend who loves pink and wears it all the time. Sh says when she was a child her mother wouldn’t let her wear pink because it “clashed w her hair”… anyway, just thought as a red head u might find it funny. My daughter is red headed and I put her in lots of pink. But I do think yellow and purple are her colors. She’s a strawberry blonde.

I love, love pink! I wear mostly neturals but break out the pinks for the summer. I usually pair pink and white together. I learned a few new great pink color combos here. I never would have thought to pair pink with tan/camel but I think it looks fantastic and I want to play around with this combo. I also really like the brown/rust suit with the light pink. I have heard that wearing a bold pink or any bold color for that matter with black or with dark colors diminishes the color and that the color is overpowered and swallowed up by the dark and I think it is true. I have tried this pairing since I heard this and can't unsee the black taking over my outfit. For this reason, I never wear my bold pink with black or dark colors and instead prefer to pair with white. As for orange and pink, I have recently seen a few outfits with orange and pink and I love the color combo. I am currently looking for a bold orange top to pair with my bold pink shorts I bought this year. I think red and pink look good together too but personally I do not like the color red.
