Great content! I love scarves and have a pretty big collection. Printed scarves are an excellent way to combine colors in an outfit as they draw together the color scheme you're going whether contrast or matching 💚
I use scarves too. It's such an easy way to pull an outfit together. :)
I so agree! I love my silk scarves for many reasons, but not least among them is how they can tie two or three different-color solid separates together. I also love their femininity, softness, elegance and how they add color and pattern to simple outfits. Plus, with my hypersensitive skin, they are necessary for wearing around my neck with woolie sweaters. They go on- and off-trend with the fashion cycles, but I’ve worn them for 40 years and don’t plan to stop. I also have a big collection and just keep them forever, hanging on a rack where I can see them and they don’t wrinkle.

It makes sense that lighter, pastel colors create less contrast between each other, they both have a lot of white in them. I love wearing white and light colors and cool neutrals like taupe, my Soft coloring just gets overwhelmed by either darks or brights. I just got a beautiful silk dress with a white, pale blue and light taupe pattern, with some minimal navy accents (border trim, mostly), it’s just perfect with my coloring. I think I’ll wear it today, with my navy cotton blazer. It will be perfect for our autumn weather, cool 50sF heading out in the morning, but at least 75F by early afternoon.
