Thank you so much , I’m stressing out so much for my speaking exam, as I hate public speaking in general 🥲. I’m am literally the quietest in my class and the amount of times I know an answer to a question that no one else knows but I’m to shy to say it or when the teacher can hear me and I have to repeat so many times….. to many to count 😅. This video was really helpful so thank you again 😁
when i watch informational videos im never usually intrigued besides from this one, but i actually watched till the end. it was extremely helpful and i appreciate you so much
an you please tell me what techniques and structures i need to use if i want to talk about 'how social media is affecting yound people' im asking this cause im not really good at using the language tecniques and structures and not a very good speaker so please help me :)
@@Motivation.mindset327 Hii so I eventually did which is a better pet cats or dogs and so basically some of my points were the benefits of each one what that means for families like companionship and I was able to link facts about how they can improve depression the drawbacks and issues that my affect families like financial issues and behavioural issues and talked about which one would be better for different types of families and also if your school allows you to make your own questions for the examiner to ask DEFINITELY do it and make sure to cover topics about your chosen subject in your questions because my teacher said that really helped my mark and the fact I could answer the questions he asked me off the top of my head also massively helped because it showed I knew a lot about my topic
not at all, most people in my school didn’t memorise their speeches fully. some people just read their speeches off a piece of paper completely and they still pass. if you want a distinction though, it would be better to memorise or at least know your speech well enough to only need cue cards.
it's not a part of either of the papers but rather it's a separate requirement you have to complete in order to pass your GCSE - your teacher will probably know more than me!
I would like to do mine on the six wives of Henry VIII but I'm not sure how to make it engaging and as interesting to other people as it is to me. How could I add a hook as you say into it?
i did social media / beauty standards but went for a different take as it was very generic and was over done in my year group and ended up getting a distinction so if u take a different take it should be fine
@@clover5858 hello,I need to do my speech in a few days time and my topic is "Is social meda controlling us" and I mainly talk about the negatve impacts it has on society!butwhat do you mean when you said "different take" do you man to be more specific ?

So , I have a question , can I invent believable but fake facts in my speech ?
I'm doing "Which Disney princesses would win a fight" is that good I feel like it's not good for this
i feel like this is a good topic but you need to be able to talk about why they would and give reasons and stuff!
any good ideas on how to make a ppt on euthanasia for English GCSE speaking.

my topics is going to be public school vs homeschool is that a good topic?
pretty good and easy to talk about
Would my topic of “why I believe cats are better pets than dogs” be good ?
that's a great topic since you can easily argue for your side and make it funny or relatable - good luck!
no way hosay

i missed mine due to surgery so i have to do mine at the start of year11😭
Do i need to memorise it for a pass?
most schools let you have q cards to help memorise certain things but its dependant on the school

Is "technology can have some negative impacts" good
it is a little bit generic but if you can make the speech really good and be prepared to answer the ending questions then you should be good
