I'm obsessed with riding stairs, and loved the detailed description of body position and speed in this video. The scenery is so beautiful, it would be hard to stay focused on the stairs!

OMG this video is SOOOOOOOO god. There’s a trail with bigger stairs that I’ve been putting off for awhile, just walking the bike down to the bottom. I’ve seen other TH-cam videos where they do it with smaller stairs, where’s speed is the key (that wasn’t going to work for me). After being inactive for a while, clicked on this video trying to learn how to ride stairs, just went out and implemented these techniques like centre of gravity, using the brakes etc. and finally did it! I’m in euphoria right now, thank you so much Hans
Hi, Hans! We are the same age, I started to ride at my 5, but after watching your videos from different part of the world, I suprised myself with a fully last Christmas to learn some tricks. Now I can ride downstairs - straight only, do bunny hops and ride steeps. If you come to Slovakia, pls, let me know, we can have a glass of wine after riding some simple tracks on awesome sceneries.
I watched this cause of Hans. I didn't really need to know how to ride stairs. At least that's what I thought. But I found the tip about adjusting the hips after a bit of drop down interesting. Can't wait to have a play aroud with that next outing.

immer wieder gut zu sehen wie man es richtig machen sollte. jedoch sind unsere stufen leider nicht am sonnigen strand sondern in aktuell verregneten mitteldeutschland. tolle videos, immer ein must see. daumen hoch und gruss aus frankfurt/m. :-))

shimano 4 piston hydraulic brakes, some of my bikes have XT and some XTR
@@Hansnowayrey I'm 105 kilos so interested in some powerful brakes for when my ebike hopefully turns up sometime this year.
