Seconding the AVS window shades! I got them based on your recommendation and am quite happy with them :)) As for fun car mods on my (also 2009) Corolla, I did a full blacked out interior with a two zone starlight headliner with meteor effects, which I got from amazon as well! 660 stars with full RGB and twinkle effect, the meteor kit is also RGB to match. The driver unit is tucked into a hollow portion of the frame in the trunk, and the fiber-optics are routed up the C-pillar into the area above the headliner. It has been wonderful and makes the commute more interesting and enjoyable, especially with a non-sunroof model, the whole roof space became a canvas.
I’m glad you have been liking the AVS visors! And the starlight head liner has been something on my to-do list! I love the way they look! Especially as you said when you don’t have a sun roof! It’s a good alternative!
For the last year or so, I've been transforming my 2013 with your inspiration! One thing I did recently from amazon was LED lights for all my rear lights and they are so much brighter at night! I love the crisp blinkers!
definitely plan to do some of these to my 2010 Corolla S whenever I get around to transforming and putting some time into fixing up the car, getting it back to mint and also making it more sporty than a normal 2010s car.
That is a good way to paint the front one with out having to tape it off. The rear ones are double sided taped, so they are much harder to take off and put back on.
As soon as I get the matrix to be a reliable daily, I will start doing more in depth projects on the corolla! The biggest problem is I don’t have time!
Hey quick question, I can’t remember exactly what video it was in but I remember seeing that when you turn on your radio, you have the Toyota logo pop up on start up. How did you that? And could it work for different/custom images?
Yeah if the car is off for more then a day the radio has to boot fully up. And when it fully boots up it will bring up the image. There is somewhere is the factory settings to change the start up background. And yes you can add your own custom image. Because I did this on my Camry when I had the radio. I added a TRD logo when it would boot up.
I took it off awhile ago because the tape was starting to let loose. I need to order some good double sided tape and install it again soon. I really did like the look of it!
@@BrandonStellmach you'll hear the difference, but some efforts, time and time is needed. First of all wheels, under dashnoard, floor, doors-> great sound, trunk etc.
I daily drive my car, and they seem to be good. The ride is a little stiff, but I got used to it after a while. But the roads in Florida are not the best. And it still drives good! I’m also not slammed. I’m just low enough to not have a wheel gap.
I will have to double check, because in the video the car is parked on my driveway, which is on a decent slope. I do see it looks low in the video, but will have to look at it on a level surface!
I ordered some sequential lights a while back on Amazon for my rolla but my driver side one has a bad seal on it so water got inside and it no longer works and sadly the seller doesn’t sell the item on Amazon anymore😭🤦🏽♂️

@@PyroTallahassee I had 35% on the front windows in my Camry. And it was nice. But didn’t seem to block out a lot of the sun on a bright sunny day in Florida. The 15% really is nice during the day. But at night can get a little hard to see when backing up.

For anyone blacking out their emblems: The front emblem unclips. Can’t comment on the rear as I’ve yet to blackout my rear emblem.

Amazon is pretty convenient. I picked up an AEM intake. I also picked up projector headlights.
Not a fan of Amazon, but it is convenient.

The XLE had a few more options. Because is was one of the highest trims on the corollas!
