I need to implement a similar solution where only the security personnel can open the door if the person has been authenticated. In other words, the facial recognition device should indicate in iVMS whether the person has been authenticated, but it should NOT open the door. Is this possible?

Hello! I plan to use this facial recognition in a hallway with high amount of people circulation. Sometimes, pleople will pass in front of the camera and it would be nice to not activate the door opening unintentionally. Is it possible to request a longer period of time to avoid unintended opening of the door while people are passing through? Example: people need to stay 3 seconds in front of the camera to allow the door opening... Thank you! Great video!

1. Can i connect DS-K1T671MF to DS-K2601T? What method of connection do i use? Is it rs485 or weigand output? Let see if i use weigand output, i need pull individual cat6 cable for FR & controller then send config file to controller and FR reader in order to gain access?

Hi . yes you can connect the Wigand output of the Terminal to the Reader input via Wigand, on the terminal settings locally via the screen under settings you will need to enable the Wigand and make it to send, then set the Wigand to 34Bit , then it will send the data to the ACU panel 😊

Hi , I assume it’s the DS-K1T605MF-B unit? , you can connect this to the network and use as standalone device or connected to software like IVMS-4200 ( Free ) or HIK-Central. That is the suggested method. If you want to connect it to the Hikvision access control unit you can do so by using the Wiegand interface output and connect it this way. The manual link below does show this process if Required Page 16

@@yazanalfarra6788 They support mifare 1k prox cards, if your HID is not this standard it wont be read

All the people's faces disappeared from the facial terminal ( it still opens for the correct people, but instead of showing their face it shows a grey box with a question mark in it ) any ideas?
Hi , there is a privacy mode on the device which may have been enabled to stop it showing the face , have you checked 😊
@@DVSLTD don't see any such setting, I went to "Access Control" => Display Authentication Result and checked "Face Picture", but that was enabled by default,, don't see any other items really?
Can we use it for both facial recognition and also displays one's temperature?

back to tech-specs: did you dive deeper into the unit? is it possible to have card-only for one person and for the same time (24hrs) for another person face-rec? (means different auth-modes in parallel for different persons) or is there only one auth-mode generally and global for the whole unit? thx..

Hi , thanks for this. The T model supports 20,000 face, 5,000 fingerprints , 50,000 event , the P version supports 10,000 face , 5,000 fingerprint , 50,000 events, the E variant supports 6,000 faces , 5,000 fingers , 10,000 events. I hope this helps 😊

Can you help please, I've installed this device for a company and they have a problem that the device some times can not detect the face, sometimes in the morning and afternoon, I have changed the setting and checked around to overcome this problem but the problem still their.
is there an issue with it being low light ??? have you turned WDR on , under the image settings on the web browser of the device??

Many thanks for the reply, I do not have any problem with the light, even I increased the LED of the device to full, but still the device somtimes have problem of detecting the face.
@@DVSLTD I don't see WDR option in the image option, nothing under the image option I do not know why your options differ from mine it is the same device.
Some times the device have the problem of detecting and in the end is showing message that is locked.

Hi DVS Ltd, great video, makes me consider to buy a unit. Seems not on sale in europe at the time. i would buy from DVS ltd, but the website says you wont deliver to germany/EU ...really? 😒

@@DVSLTD its a pity. all listed german resellers dont care much about hikvision and more about their own stuff, mostly they own pretty old and odd stuff. their shops are from the first internet days . 🤦♂️ DVS cares importantly with high effort about Hikvision products and DVS has a appaeling modern online-shop. i cannot give you a little benefit for this? also germany is part of the EUR some hungary online-sites offer the module. but i would like to buy from DVS. may someone could ask hikvision for permission to sell there products in EUROPE? Or do they dont want to sell at all? 🤷♀️..a pity.. i will wait for a wonder 🎉

I have had a problem for two weeks with my access control and my facial recognition reader and imprint.
I have a DS-K2602 and a DS-K1T671MFW as a player.
I first made an RS485 cabling but without success because my door does not open with the face and not with the imprint of fingers.
I tried with wiegand it gives the same result, my door does not open. I need your help . what to choose the RS485 or the Wiegand?
on the Face Rec unit , please add to 4200 and then go to settings and wigand interface, please set this to output not input , and to 37bit from memory , ( not the 26bit one ) , then apply , you may find this setting doesn’t take so on the Face Rec unit then login by pressing the screen and login as admin , then go to interface and wigand and check / set the above, then you should find it will communicate with the ACU on Wigand

Hi, it’s a relay output so just about anything you can control via a relay to be honest
Sir why is my device not online?
I can ping from my pc, i can see the device on the available device list but it is still offline. Its saying parameter error but the username and password is correct.

Hi, I have chased this and actually R&D have come back saying they cant supply it as its was a past firmware that is outdated and currently they don’t support this region for plate reads, I am very sorry ☹

i contacted both Hikvision UAE and Hikvision HQ china many times but everytime they pass me to technical guys whom did not respond, before purchasing i check its datasheet which was for 2018 and it was clearly said that support many middle east country including iran! even hikvision in its white paper about ANPR proudly announced that they support arabic plate number :(
honestly i am getting upset because of their behavior. they even didn't bother themselves to respond! they just remind me to never ever trust a chinese company no matter how is big.
i'm sure if this issue came from a european company they did not act like this, anyway as always thanks for your time and your great video.

I presume for QR code scanning, have you updated to the latest firmware ? inside the menu option have you enabled QR code option ? under shortcut key and QR code enable
