I had a pair of VLAND headlights on my last car (Lancer) looked great, the main thing about the Subaru is that I don't need to change them.
Only the C Light as I want DRL's, do you happen to have a video on your aftermarket C Lights, or can you point me in the right direction for the install of aftermarket C Lights? Diode dynamics have a pretty good C Light for sale, but international shipping might take a while.
I might be doing a fog light bezel replacement that has a DRL / indicator so I need to know if the aftermarket C Light uses the crappy stock fog light DRL OEM plug, as I might only be able to use one and not the other. Do you know about this too?
Love your videos they are very informative for AUDM, especially with the premium WRX 2016 (same car as me) If you saved me so much pain with your aftermarket head unit video and your idoing head unit video. I went with the idoing, it's fantastic!

Hey mate, cheers for the comment. Unfortunately, I don't have a video of it. I should have done it and regret not filming it! But it was such a stressful day doing that, I probably would have done something horribly wrong if I had to concentrate on filming too.
For anything aftermarket, you'd have to wire any DRL straight to the fuse box. Initially, I had the fog light bezel too, and had to wire it to the fuse box. If it comes with the plug that joins the harness going to the stock DRL and foglight, then you're in for a winner, but I haven't seen one that does that (at least not for the pre facelift model).
My C lights didn't have a harness. It just had a circuit board. I had to make up my own wiring which was quite simple - ground to the chassis, and joined two positive wires to one, some solder and heat shrink, then wire it to the fuse box in the slot I mention in this video.
Glad the videos were useful mate!
