How long I haven't came to this beloved small game? Probably not long after, but here it is. I was thinking of turning into a reload video, but I decided to make it a full weapon showcase before someone competes me.
Let's talk how how worth is this DLC is. So let me back track for a moment how I think other DLCs are good. I like the Stalingrad which is a big change on having a city map and new amount of Soviet weapons. Normandy is also good. While it only added one gun and a Canadian faction which is a reskin of the Brits, I also like the map which is the iconic among WW2 history and a remake from the first game.
But this Ardennes DLC, I would not say it's the best. The game has two maps, really, being Stonne and Bulge both set in the French forest of Ardennes. They're both small size and mostly forest. The town's buildings are literally reused from the Normandy map. So that's a weakest part of the DLC.
They have added a new faction which is the French. There are a least four voice actors and mon dieu they got thick accents. I like it. They don't perform so badly. Their uniforms are good looking being they're no longer wearing blue color back in World War 1. However they don't have a lot of weapons and vehicles as they're unfortunately obsolete. Tied with Italians and Japanese.
Now as for animation, they don't perform badly as the game is getting better by higher budget from donations. The ruby pistol has a questionable animations as the screen shakes and empty reload being flashy. I'm fine with the reload, but Easy Red series never had a shake screen. I don't know what Corvostudio is thinking. I suggest they should remove it.
Would I say it's worth it? Despite it's small sized content on the French faction and two bland maps, yes it's definately worth it. Like it's always fun to play new stuff. Sure as hell wish the devs could do the Saar Offensive, but I guess this is consider a failed attempt on French invading Germany and now they're paying for it. Hopefully Battle of Berlin and Polish Invasion should be next even if every DLCs they released cost $5.

The ruby camera shake animation can be disabled through setting. Uncheck the camera animation option.
I think it's an expeirmental feature that would be optional and only gun done is ruby.

The devs have no idea how many of these guns work. You can not load a single round into the Ruby like that lol
