It has been over 3 years and nobody made a reload animation video for this game except some content thief who didn't bother playing the game. Oh I see now... Where do I begin? Let me tell you this video is a PAIN to play this game. Took me like a half of month to beat the game, along with the DLCs, and I've broke the game. Doesn't matter. I got enough recorded clips for this TH-cam channel. Seriously like everyone knows this game, yet didn't bother to make a proper weapon showcase video. So it's time for me to make it shine!
I love this game. It's so immersive and the story rocks. Unlike two games, the Last Light and 2033, being difficult to get a good ending, Exodus is much easier to obtain the good ending because it's okay to kill people as long you're being told not to do it by NPCs. It's fine to kill bandits, slavers, and paladins as long you spare the unnarmed survivors. However I didn't spare the forest people due to needing to get the Valve's 10 staggering magazine, but I still got a good ending regardless.
Now for weapons, it's quite a lot more than the Redux and Last Light. Even though there are less weapons, they are highly customizable. Bastard is still useless as usual even though the box magazine is cool. Other than that, many weapons are useless. The shotguns are nerfed, big time, that a revolver does a better job in the Volga level due to it's versatility, high damage, and can attach a scope. But by the time I got to Capsian level and so on, the Bulldog and Tikhar quickly became the best weapons in my opinion. Why? The Bulldog has even more versatility and more ammo than the revolver. For Tikhar, it quickly became a stealth sniper rifle. Nothing more than that. Finally the throwing knives does everything better.
Oh yeah I forget to talk about weapon animations and the sounds. I think they're better and less asset flip than the older games. Especially the Kalash stole a reload sound from STALKER games. The devs put a lot of effort on reload canceling so it means the guns are half loaded when cutting the interations. I won't talk about the inspect animations here which should get it's own video.
Overall, it's a great game. The only negative I'll say is movement are pretty jank and New Game Plus will break your game. But other than that, this is much more replayable experience for sure.
The DLC weapons are included: Sam's Story and Two Colonials. So don't worry.

I have also noticed about that content thief's existence, and to be honest, it just makes me wonder, how is his blatant stealing even this successful? Like you can see from the numbers, he gets 1k views in medium from stolen videos repurposed into either reload or weapon sounds videos.
I have done, for example, a Medal of Honor 2010 weapons showcase along with weapons sounds and reload animations (although these ones I only did them for the multiplayer component since I haven't finished the campaign). Just after I have done those, I noticed this channel, doing a video about the weapon sounds, with a familiar looking video, with 1.4k views. I was like "what? how did he get that amount when I actually spent 8 hours to finish the damn campaign, plus to painstakingly record the weapons from there, and also to record the ones from the multiplayer component, to just see this channel who has stolen a video from Tigerfield from years back which he repurposed as so.
Such a long winded and probably senseless comment, but hope you get the point, and I do agree with your comments on his latest videos
