I do remember as a child a girl who was a twin that I grew up with swore she saw the Banshee by my house . 3 days later her aunt died .
Few years ago me and my brother saw the banshee in Palmerstown, she hid behind a tree, she wore a black dress, she had red glowing eyes, we also saw her transform in to some creature, but i can't put my finger on what she transformed into, thanks amil for talking about our Irish folklore, it always gets me so pumped when someone talks about it.

It seems like ghosts are a combination of the beliefs of a being who died (including pets) and the beliefs of witnesses who may or may not be open to experiencing a ghost.
