Rafael you do take painting a piece to another level. Your attention to detail definitely brings these pieces to life. I'm impressed with how you take finishing the piece to another level by casting the teeth and tongue! I learn something new every time I watch one of your videos. Thanks
This is fantastic ! The back of the throat was a great idea. This is one entertaining and informative video. I am hard pressed to imagine this looking any better. Fine work.
This was an absolutely amazing insight into the detail that can be applied when utilising certain techniques that you have clearly mastered. You've earned a new subscriber.
WOW that is truly amazing piece of work. I have never had 5 min epoxy turn yellow though and I have used many types. i actually add light yellows so I can get for more depth and colors for dramatic effect. i used hot glue for my drools never thought of epoxy I will use it and hack the chemistry that i need.
Good work man :-) Great to see FX technician skills being applied to this kit, very apt in fact considering who manufactured it. I still remember Caseys first works 12-15yrs ago, back on the old 'THE MONSTER LAB' days (now the Effects Lab), time moves fast man. Did you ever used to visit that forum? Thank you for the vids. Ps: although I have no Spanish or Latino connection genetically (to my knowledge), nor do I speak any form of Spanish, I really like that you double up on your dialogue instructions bilingualy (did i spell that correctly? Probs not, lol)
great channel Raphael I just subbed a few days back and I have learnt so much is that an iwata airbrush your are using just curious that's all lol also if you don't mind me asking what size airbrush needle and air pressure you use for the mottling
+360SRH 2 yes you can use a gloss clear as long as it says nonyellowing , the reason i use 5 minute epoxy is that it gives it more depth and realism especially on the eyes
Rafael Robledo Jr What's your favourite glue to use on vinyl kits to glue limbs together?, and favourite paint-able/sand-able putty to cover joints seams? My last questions sorry.
+360SRH 2 no problem my friend feel free to ask any question, and as many as you want, :) i use 5 minute epoxy a lot to glue joints and the putty i prefer is the AVES epoxie sculpt, i have also used the epoxy to glue pieces together as well , you just have to wait for it to dry hard, , i love this stuff .

What epoxy did you use? I dont know if I missed you mentioning it or not. This piece kicks serious ass!!!
5 minute epoxy
+Wendy Mejia I honestly thought you were joking, he said 5 minute epoxy like 4 times. :P
What brand is the 5 minutes paxy that you used?
You mixed purple acrylic paint into the epoxy for the drool?
yes that helps so that the epoxy doesn't turn yellow
Rafael Robledo Jr
What about just using it plain clear to coat an eye or mouth.. It always turns yellow?
