That's kind of an oxymoron. If they fixed the cheating issue, they'd naturally make more money since people would trust putting their finances into the product again.
They don't even seem focused on making more money but rather just things they probably deem more 'fun' or 'enjoyable' to implement into the game than deal with the issues thinning out their playerbase.
Players are going to see this kind of thing going on unchecked and aren't going to risk wasting their time playing the game much less their money with it.

Apex is at a all time breaking point. I just found out some pro players still haven't been paid for split 1.
The only pro players who actually make money are the ones who are signed to large e-sport orgs it’s been like that since the beginning and is like that in every game

Oh man if esports winners not getting paid on time is a problem for you I've got news: its more the rule than the exception, if you do some looking into it. Having to wait forever to maybe eventually get your winnings is basically the norm.
@@Worldofweez No, the company handling the transactions for EA have made blatant mistakes, and paid out the wrong amounts. Many of them were unpaid. It's not a waiting game if someone was mistakenly paid 100k when they should have made a couple thousand and those that were supposed to get paid thousands were only paid 500. Split one playoffs were in the beginning of May.
If they treat pros like this, the people who help promote their game then I really don’t think nothing is gonna get fixed. It genuinely feels like they just don’t give a fuck.
They 100% don't care about you or your experience as long as the money coming in is sufficient.
Some people closely associated with the game itself might care, but the people who decide what to invest in (hiring staff, where to direct dev resources, time spent in QA, etc.), those don't care about you or the game one bit. Only about the bottom line.
EA has a reputation as one of the most hated companies for a reason and they are fine with it because it still makes them tons of money, so who cares lol? They've never tried to change that fact.
If they actually cared, so many problems with this game would be fixed by now. It's actually laughable how they've gotten away with not fixing so much for so long.

Wishing destroyer2009 would come back and give all of us tons of packs, that'll teach EA a lesson for messing up the battlepass cause it was the only thing that rewards casual players for their loyalty and commitment, we wouldn't be complaining if the 3 main core issues have been resolved i.e (Anti cheat, servers and audio) and now it's about to sprout yet a 4th main core issue cause by driving your players away that they've got nothing to grind for affects matchmaking queue time.

@@Slimsupersett literally me. I’ve got just over 1700hrs in cos I love the way Apex plays, especially the movement and how fast and chaotic everything can get, but there have been so many cheaters and server/game crashes that it’s just become unbearable.

The queues for solos are taking me 10 minutes to find 1 game
Now imagine with this new BP that drives the casual players away since they are no longer rewarded for their commitment/loyalty for playing the game that the player retention is gonna get a lot worse next season.

Believe it or not. Apex's anti cheat used to be better: they used to implement hardware ban to cheaters. Somehow later on, they decided to not banning any cheaters again because it might affect their revenue or something. I love Titanfall/Apex so much yet EA killed Titanfall and now putting Apex in a spot that's unplayable just like when Titanfall 2 Multiplayer was held hostage by hackers for so many years. They proven that they could've easily fixed the server issue but they let the game stay dead for so long and only fixed that when they needed to advertise Apex new character. EA is truly a disgusting company, rotten to the core. It's heartbreaking to see my beloved games butchered by their greed.
When will you dummies realize most games made now a days are cash grabs they don’t care even about the fools who pay $10 for a pass they want the whales that buy the heirloom that are addicted to their video game casino.
There's a good amount of crossover of people who buy cheats to feel better about themselves and those who buy cosmetics to feel better about themselves. Is it any wonder why they implement the changes to the BP when cheating is at an all time high? They'll probably issue a statement and ban wave in the near future after the cheaters have a false sense of security and buy into the BPs, it's just a milking strategy.

Hardware ID ban is the easiest thing to avoid/workaround it takes seconds for anyone with a brain it doesn't really do anything except prevent uneducated people from cheating

You walk to the HQ to see lights left on, computers left on with bag lockers all sealed shut, no one to be seen for weeks on end!! The battle pass was probably made in one day and the devs walk out again still being paid hourly while not working.. some jobs actually do that it's crazy

You clearly dont watch anyone big that plays fps chats move fast. and at the end of the day a delay is the dumbest idea basically letting the cheaters still cheat and still stream snipe cause they just have to get the timing right and they will get in the lobbies instead of dealing with the bigger issue...

Because of money, new players gave up on playing rank cause itll take too long for them to grind to 50

Get someone to create a private BR server. Like exactly the same as R5. Then create a new 3rd party ranked system. Invite only, get people in then you have control of the Ban system. You are at risk then of DDOS, but you can have multiple servers, with high bandwidth to counter smaller botnets.

So sad man, I had like 400 hours (just playing for fun) and I played it because of the graphics. This game started to fall with the fund on battle pass changes or whatsoever unbalanced matchmaking plus cheaters.Idk man since there's all of this problem I started to play story games only and yeah maybe I would just stick with that.

It's pretty clear of the fact that EA is trying to completely kill the game. As we know they laid off A LOT of workers in respawn recently, now they're thinking about making battle passes cost real money not apex coins... The pattern is completely clear and sadly the game is close to complete death. Pretty sure it has two or three more seasons until it dies, unless someone at EA or respawn starts doing something

Many multiplayer free to play games had cheaters, from 6 months to this many of the cheaters have DMA ones.
They don't even have to ban him..Just block him from playing with Wattson if he keeps ending up in the same lobbies as him...

Surely it is time to IP Ban. If it is console, ban the console. Zero tolerance, I used to go on the EA Boards, over two years ago, constantly people were posting their account had been hacked, basically their accounts were handed over to be boosted, the booster cheated and they would try to get it repealed. Enough is enough.
It's just a lack of respect for their player base and not staffing the business appropriately. Absolutely sucks to see things like this.

you can hide your screen and turn audio off but you cant hit a pause button.... but you're then asking someone to remember to hide after every match in hops that they dont get in the same lobby, let alone the fact that high rank lobbies you tend to run into the same people a lot since not as many "skilled players", instead of asking the company that makes the game to prioritize the safety of their company over half baked cosmetics for profit.
Every game has cheaters, the big games out there that do the best with cheaters see the value in having a big team security team to defend against it/actively ban like clock work. Just like in cyber security, if you make it more annoying for the people doing these things they are more likely to stop out of being annoyed
They should make a feature where you can block certain players from getting into your map
Yeah honestly why isn't there a block feature along with the report button? That's the key, cheaters can't kill you if the game won't match you in any lobby they're on because you blocked them.

All it takes is EA to put employees on watch of big time streamers on their game. Get paid to watch the stream and live ban hackers. Simple as that
If Respawn doesn’t have the man power to take care of this. They should give large Apex streamers server mod privileges. Let them ban hackers themselves. That would clean up the game real quick.
