Thank you so much for these reminders! I was very active all of my life. I went to Chicago Health Club in the 80s and have been a backpacker, cyclist, hiker, swimmer, pro. Dog walker..until 1 year ago. I am 60 and if you stop doing those things, you will store fat! I now have an office job and lots of stress. I have started working out with a personal trainer and walking/hiking/cycling. But I have 40 # of fat( mostly visceral I think) to lose!! It seems so overwhelming. But being reminded that it is simple science really helps. Thank you!!
Critical care RN and avid gym-goer here! 🙋 Your channel/content ROCKS! Do you have any knowledge on high carb diets and hyperinsulinemia and how that relates to fat gain/loss?
Hi, I just stared watching your videos and really enjoy all yore expert advise! I am turning 50 this year and have seen such a negative change in my body so I would like to make some changes to welcome this half century marker in my life. What advice do you give as a 50 year old and how to start this new journey for fat loss? I would love to loose 20lbs, and increase muscle and feel great in my skin!! Thank you!
I wasn’t sure, but… what if you don’t sweat? I’m one of those people who you will rarely see with sweat, I could go most days with no deodorant, I can shower before a weight lifting session and you’d never know any diff.. I’ve always been that way, that’s why I hate summer.. I feel sick after too long of a time..
No worries if you don't sweat as everyone is different, but remember majority of fat is exhaled out through carbon dioxide. Also as I said in the video water also leaves the body through urine so all good!!
So how do you know when you’re burning fat and instead of just “lowering the number on the scale” when you can’t like, see what’s happening inside your body? Maybe you get into in the rest of the video but if not do you have an answer please?
She’s said in another video to use other methods of seeing your body change. A smart scale, using a measuring tapes, photos, how your clothes fit and how you feel. Muscle weighs more than fat! :)
I knew the fat would come out in my pee. I am very hydrated when I work out. But maybe about an hour or two after I work out, my pee is kinda dark. I imagined the fat coming out in my pee. Now, science confirms it! 👍🏼
Hello, I am new to your channel and I love your enthusiasm. I am 57 I lift weights 5-6 times a week. At the start of January I gave up alcohol and sweets. I started Intermittent fasting, increasing my protein, but nothing! What change do I need to make to kick start my metabolism and get me into fat loss mode?
Hi mam... I have umbilical hernia after my c section...my belly was very big after my delivery..then i try to lose my belly fat so I did lot of cardio without knowing about strength training ... Now my weight has reduced lot but not belly fat... My question is can I do strength training workout if i have umbilical hernia.. pls reply mam
I believe you can still strength train depending on the severity and pain levels. My best advice is to talk to a doctor or physiotherapist first to get the exercises that would work best for you prior to starting :)
Hey, i subscribed to your channel last night because I wanna try body recomposition. ?ion though. Is this why they say to drink lots of water after laser cavitation treatment? 🤔🤔🤔

This is hard without knowing more info about you, but it sounds like you are on the right track!
When plans change and it becomes a long day, what are the three bodyweight exercises you should at least do?
Top 3? hmm hard to choose, but I would say squats, push ups, plank
I hope this doesn't sound crazy but I have to ask. Is there such a thing as losing body fat without doing a body recomp? As I said it may sound crazy.
Yes if you just want to decrease body fat but not build lean muscle or get leaner, you can decrease body fat by focusing on weight loss only
This is very helpful. Can you make a video on the difference of being a fat burner vs a sugar burner? And how do you become a fat burner?
Interesting topic - I'll add it to my list!
