I think it was a cute video. It made me laugh, yet at the same time brought up some stuff to be aware of. I've never been to a mosque, but I'm interested to go. Of course, I want to be respectful and know the protocols before I set foot into a service. That's why I'm here.. and this was a nice, warm place to leap in.
Kimberly, best you find out a bit more about Islam before going to a mosque. Try reading the Quran the Hadith and Sira in a language you fully understand for starters. You might be surprised at what you are getting yourself into.

As Muslims, we must never treat other Muslims with disrespect, even if the person desires to be defiled and demeaned for some reason. If a wife desires to try out disgraceful acts in marriage, then my dear brother, it is our duty to remind her that she is a queen of Paradise and mother of believers. Indeed, if you indulge your wife in sexual fantasies, then what do you think will happen once you pass away? Such habits do not go away, and she will become mad to go to another man who can satisfy her. I tell you brother, that a cancer patient complained that his wife wants a divorce. The brother suffered from prostate cancer and can no longer satisfy his wife, but they had a very active sexual lifestyle, which of course they considered perfectly halal, and used sharia and hadith to justify, but the Muslimah woman became addicted, and now cannot stay even one day without these acts, and the brother, who may die from cancer any week, was weeping bitterly now, because his wife is going mad from her desires and wishes to marry another man immediately. She cannot take care of her cancer-ridden husband because of the things he taught her to please her in their conjugal life, and now she needs a man constantly. If your wife wants to try disgusting things, it is your duty to remind her that she is too precious in the eyes of Allah to be defiled like a toilet, and the same advice goes to the Muslim wife, otherwise the moment you fall ill or die, she or he will inevitably go to another woman or man to satisfy her needs and then another until her Imaan and faith might be jeopardized. May Allah keep us all on the path of our Prophet.
It is necessary to remember that we are in this world for a very short time, and our goal is not to enjoy worldly pleasures and carnal desires, but rather to worship Allah. Marriage is a sunnah of the prophets and therefore should remain pure and for procreation only. Naturally, divorce is the most hated thing in religion, and therefore, we must try to work on our personal lives and endeavour to practice upon the noble footsteps of the prophet.

all three of them made a disclaimer at the end ... they dressed as women so as to drive home the message that men should not pollute the sanctity of the Masjhid Precincts by gossiping, idle and futile talk and hence disrupting the serenity in the House of Allah - chattering is the order of the day in practically every section of the Masjhid, including Wudhu areas and also while the Muazzin is proclaiming the Adhan.

***** Akhi if you're speaking to me, then I agree actions are judged by intention, and if your intention is right but your action is wrong; like the brothers in the video, then the whole act is wrong. Hence the person that celebrates the Mawlid of the Prophet (p), their intention may be good and they may have Ikhlas (sincerity) but the action is wrong, therefore the whole act is wrong.
***** celebrating the Prophets Birthday is Bid'ah because no sahabi or the Tab'een celebrated the Prophets birthday before or after his death. The Prophet said there are 2 occasions of celebration and that is Eid al Fitr and Eid al Adha..... As for wearing Islamic hats..... The Prophet and some of his companions wore Topys and imammah such as Abu Bakr(ra) and Umar (ra)... The Prophet is our example and we must try to follow his actions and Sunnah, even in the Quran Allah says:
"O children of Adam! Wear your beautiful apparel at every place of prayer ".....Asalam 3alaykum akhi ☺
AK Mohamed What is the problem if we remember The prophet (S:) on his birthday or on other days. Its a type of remembrance and Alloh says something like this in a verse "Me and my angels remember my prophet and you also do it." I cannot recall the verse but it is in the qur'an.
Don't take it otherwise brother.Also sahaba as well as our prophet (S:) never used a concrete and air conditioned mosque but we pray now, isn't it a Bida'h?
Ariful Haque That is a worldly bid'ah (innovation), a car is bid'ah, an airplane, microphone and speakers in the masjid, these are okay. But bid'ah in religion is bad. Where we say 'if we do this act we will be rewarded for it', without any daaleel (evidence) this is bid'ah. Air conditioners make our life easier, it does NOT increase our iman and we do NOT expect to be rewarded for feeling the 'air' of the conditioner lol; we also don't expect to be rewarded for using a microphone, but it does make our life easier. People used to make Hajj with horses and caravans, my great great grandfather took about 3 months to make Hajj from Iraq, but now we could go on the plane and in a matter or hours we'll reach our destinations, this is worldly bid'ah, it has nothing to do with the religion itself. Again for the concrete, it does not enhance or better our religion, rather the things that the Prophet (p) of Allah told us to do enhances our religion.
