    $40,000 is the first MicroLED set I've heard that is under $100,000.
    Congrats on the manufacturing process that led to this

    For those mentioning the price, this is how tech gets disseminated. First it is very expensive so only business and very wealthy individuals can afford it but over time prices come down as production ramps up. Also, the tech will get better and cheaper as the manufacturer would rather sell 1 million units for $10k than 50,000 for $40k. In 4 years microled will be replacing OLED and miniled.

      I am so excited about this category. It’s definitely the future of display. A lot of amazing things that we can do with it. There’s definitely a conversation for scale but we are also focusing on creating the best wall you can buy

      While that is usually correct, Video Wall Tech has existed since the 90s, and really took off in the early 2000s. This tech is being gatekept for the high end as they don't want to sell to "mainstream" consumers even though the tech has come down dramatically in price (Screen modules + Video Processor + Mounting) and the main guys response where he says its the future but completely ignored your calls to price talk is very VERY telling!

    • @justvideowalls
      @justvideowalls  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@CallMeRabbitzUSVI what do you mean by gatekeeping? Do you mean to suggest that I am intentionally keeping this product out of the hands of certain customers?
      The tech has definitely come down in price, and we are conveying as much of that as possible. However, the quality has also come down along side that. It took us 3 years to interview and test all the component suppliers out there and we are just not interested in offering a cheap, low-quality product. It's not what we believe is right for the consumer. Also, I have never shied away from talking pricing, please check out the rest of our content. Happy to answer any pricing relating questions you may have.
      I am not a corporate monster and I am not out to get you. 😁

    I have had projectors with 140" screen and currently have an 86" 4K TV due to wanting have windows open for a change. The thought of getting to have the best of both soon is amazing. A huge, beautiful display without worrying about it getting washed out with ambient light. What is the response time on these? Have they been tested for gaming? Last thing.....I have a spare wall if you guys need a place to store a 100" model. I won't even charge you to rent the space.

      You're right! It's pretty wild not having anything in between you and the image, including the shiny glare. But especially since it's still so bright and contrasty. Typical latency is about 1 frame. I use them for gaming all the time, check out my instagram @justvideowalls

    As someone else commented, these displays may be a bit too bright for watching movies in a darkened room. Even if you can dim the light output, is this technology (emissive vs reflective) able to capture the magic of the silver screen? It would be interesting to see if commercial theaters adopt MicroLeds.

      I was in the projection screen industry for over 7 years. I did a lot of my marketing directly against LED video walls, mostly because of cost. • @justvideowalls
      @justvideowalls  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@jacobdc76 $50k for the 136" LEDGE - however it's not going to be available for order until sometime around November.
      In general, here's the difference:
      1. 10bit max vs 12bit / 120hz options
      2. Panel lamination and black levels are superior on Just Video Walls custom.
      3. Processing has only 1 frame lag typical on Just Video Walls - the EXPANSE is good, but the LEDGE is a lot more latency, not good for gaming.
      4. JVW red-carpet service and QC. We have a much more intensive QC process (it happens twice) on Just Video Walls vs Lunar
      5. Full grayscale calibration is only on Just Video Walls. This enables 22bit+ processing and evens out the luminance at ultra-low voltage so it's a "rolloff" instead of a hard drop.
      6. The JVW panels have black edges and a full edge-blending processing in the system to eliminate module seams in content.
      7. The JVW cabinets have more rigidity and are heavier than the Lunar Expanse cabinets.
      All that said, we feel that the Lunar Expanse is an incredible value for what you're getting. That was the intent behind designing it - so more people have access to the awesome MicroLED tech.
      Super excited for you to get MicroLed my friend! Hope that helps

      Maybe! We will see. But the comments I'm hearing in the field is that not many people want to be forced to wear a headset. Not that they wont have one for its own purposes. Kind of the same issue with the 3D movies, but perhaps exaggerated a little because you can't truly interact with your surroundings. A lot of our customers build multi-use spaces so they may run art during the daytime with a TV layer placed over the art, and then movies or video games. When they have friends over, it doesn't really make sense to force the use of glasses or a headset to hang out with each other.

    lol so only the top 5% can afford it. terrible idea to limit yourself to only 5% of the market lol. $40K MSRP lol. This is hilarious. They should have worked on a model that MSRP's at maybe $10K which would have opened up the market for them and would take business away from higher end normal TV's.

      It’s an evolving technology. Micro LED production is in its infancy and needs years to ramp. Remember the cost of the first OLEDs?

      Ah, those are all common objections :) we overcome all of them with really strong video wall speaker solutions from almost all the major brands now, plus our walls dim perfectly - and they're really pleasing on the eyes. You should see one in person if you get the chance

      What an idiotic comment - brightness can be adjusted like EVERY OTHER TV ON THE PLANET and 99% use their home audio

      @@supersai4198 as a professional that installs led screens and large home theatres, I can speak with experience, unlike your comment. LED screens are designed to be bright, 6mm and up are for outdoors while under 6mm is for indoors. Go grab a touch and look directly at it, now compare that to bouncing the light off the wall. Which one is easier on the eyes? A projected image is far easier on your eyes in a pitch black room compared to led. You don’t get eye fatigue on a projector. Go watch 2 movies in a row in a pitch black room on a led and see how you feel afterwards.
      That’s why I said the led screens are great in a living room with ambient light but I don’t like to put them in home cinemas. I won’t even start on wise speaker placement etc. please don’t reply as you clearly aren’t in a position to do so.
