TH-cam has plenty of former ninja tier one operators hauling home a literal bundle off all of us regular dudes who just love the Constitution, freedom and being an American. I have a slew of those guys I throw a few bones a month to, but for every one of those I make sure I also support someone who treasures their freedom and didn't live that life. Contrary to those who get it in their heads that to be a "real" Patriotic American ya had to be in the Military. That's just not the case, were all grateful for their service. But as it was once said and wrongly attributed , "In America there's a rifle behind every blade of grass", we need to make sure that stays true, because no matter who said it, as long as it's true they won't ever try... that's security.

Hell yeah, love Taurus firearms. Have 2 revolvers that are great and will be buying the G2c. Their affordability let's people own multiple firearms instead of dropping $500 on a single Glock.

I love my G2c, it covers everything you need in a handgun.💯 The G3 is just a bigger version of the G2c, it just holds more bullets. Can't go wrong with either one, all depends on what you want. Taurus has truly made a masterpiece with the G2c and G3.💯 #Masterpieces

I bought my first Taurus G2C 9mm satin stainless slide/black and I loved it so much I bought an all black Taurus G2C 9mm 2 months later and both have gotten easy over 500 rounds thru them! No malfunctions! I want the Taurus G3 for a full frame 9mm!
My coworker bought the g3 about 3/4 months ago and about 2 weeks ago he put 100 rounds through it and I put 50 through it!! No problems @ all, no misfires, no jams, no nothing, every time I pulled the trigger it had something to say and me personally I ❤️ it + that was my 1st time shooting a Taurus and I’m thinking about getting the G2C but I want it in .40, I’m a .40 caliber guy myself and I’m only 6’0 170 so I like to pack some real stopping power
Not trying to insult you or criticize you , but just so you know, the reality is there is no significant difference in the 9mm and 40 as far as stopping power is concerned. There are lots of videos that show this. But going with a 40, it will be much easier to get ammo since its not as popular 9mm. Do one thing though, either go all 40 if you get more than one gun or all 9mm. Don't have both. Its too easy to get the ammo mixed up and shoot the 9 in the 40 then a 40 behind it causing a catastrophic failure(blowing up in your hand). Best regards to you.
Thanks for your reviews. I'm a first time buyer and the G2C was the only gun they had left under $500, and it was the last one. So I bought it because I thought something was better than nothing. I hadn't done any research on this so of course I had some concerns. But after watching your videos I feel so much better. They've gone up a little due to the high demand, I got it for $260. Oh and my son got the G3 for the same price.
I’m a first time pistol owner. I just bought the G2C thanks to you! And I have yet to fire it due to this pandemic. Been dry firing some snap caps to work on my draw and everything. Thanks for the input on the g3 and the G2C. I plan on owning a G3 as well. Great vid mate!

M&P are good guns. I have a Shield that I really like, and will be doing videos on the SD9VE that is on its way. I did a video on the Shield a couple months ago. Yeah, I share my opinions and try to help people out with info, and hang out. I do not try to steer anyone in any direction. If I am excited about something I pass it along. If I don't really like something, I say that too. Thanks man. I appreciate it. You take it easy too.
G2C is a fine little pistol. I bought one recently and I'm impressed. My first Taurus made me a fan.

In my opinion Taurus is on the road to recovery and is going to be a major player in the handgun Arena. Especially if they keep building good handguns at an affordable price. If they do it's going to put a large dent in the Big Boys Market share.
I agree. I stayed away from them for many years. They had some big disasters in the past (lawsuits, recalls etc.) It seems they have turned things around a lot. I am very happy with my rather recent Taurus purchases.

well done. I am carrying a M&P 9mm shield and I like it but it hurts my wrist if I shoot it more than 2-3 mags worth of ammo. and it is hard for me to rack the slide. no grief please, I am nearly 70 years old. something that will lessen the recoil and it looks like it will be easier to rack as well could be a good idea. Thinking of picking up the G3
Get it it’s worth it. Whether you get g2c g3 or g3c they are great budget pistol
I did want to say I do have m&p 40 shield an the m&ps are beautiful
I've heard a few people say they have a hard time racking the slide on the m&p shields the guide rod springs are so heavy so there is not much recoil but the slide is harder to rack.
I bought the G2c last December and it's a very "shootable" gun. I've had no failures in operation and I've shot both factory ammo and reloads. I did install the Lakeline G2c upgrade kits (stainless steel recoil guide and spring assembly and the stainless steel striker guide and striker spring set). I see no reason to to spend $500.00+ on a concealed carry weapon or home defense weapon if you don't have to. Mine has been totally reliable (even before the upgrade) Palmetto State Armory has them for $249.00.

I went with the g3. My boss recommended the g2c, but he's like 5'8 and 135lbs. I'm 6'2" and 230lbs. I went with it because the g3 has a longer grip. The price was the same when I bought mine at cabelas. But the g3 just felt better in my hand.
Also, I'm a switch hitter and the g3 just felt better in my left. The gun isn't fully ambidextrous but you can reverse the mag release button.
I found a great laser for it as well. It's a viridian e series, green laser. Takes a 1/3N battery. Also bought a bore sight to zero it in from cabelas. Fits many different calibers. It's magnetic and sits on the end of the barrel. Great tool for sighting your laser correctly.

I have the G2 and G 3 . , with the G2 never had any issue, nice little gun. but with the G3, jamed one time, in 200 rounds. I think it was ammo problems, but it is very accurate and low recoil. good guns at low prices and reliable.
A lot of smaller channels are reporting issues with the G3C. A lot of them won't feed hollow points.
I'm glad I got the G2C.
The one guy in the video with the broke G3C said his G2C never had a problem. He has both.
My channel was very small when I did this video.

I own a Sig P320 and love it but today I bought a Taurus G2C because I wanted another gun, and I wanted a smaller gun (to carry), and my lady can shoot it. Feels good in my hand, has great reviews, but I have yet to shoot it but I will this weekend. I paid $215 but people have definitely gotten them cheaper. $233 out the door I’m happy with that.
I love both of the guns like you said but my G3 does have a loaded chamber indicator. Granted I did just get it about a month ago and I also have the stainless steel slide. In the short amount of time I've had it I've put about everything you can through it without any malfunctions and it fired about 200 rounds straight out-of-the-box no issues.

I know what you mean. their quality has stepped up a lot in the last couple years. And the price is great. The G2C is so comfortable to shoot, and features not usually found in such a budget pistol. yeah, one bar tab could easily exceed a new G2C.....lol I also recommend getting one. I love the G3 too.

Just picked myself up a G3 last week, definitely worth every single penny. I actually prefer its fit, finish aside from the black I usually prefer stainless but boohoo me, and the performance and operation is just preferable mostly, even over my Kahr polymer cm45. Less wobble in the slide tolerances etc, that said they're totally different designs as far as size and capacity, caliber and better trigger but yeah g3 just checks all the boxes

I was never a Taurus guy in the past either. But these recent offerings from Taurus are def changing my opinion. I like Glock too. I will be doing a build project of a Glock on here soon.

I've got a G2C Millennium and I have three different magazines for it. I have two of the twelve round mags that came with it new, and I bought a fifteen round that fits my big hands better, and a ten round mags for hunting. Required in my state. There is a 30 round magazine available, so you don't have to worry about running out of lead.
These things are fantastic for the money. I have the G2S because of my state's mag restriction. Keep up the good work 2aEdu!

I have the 9mm MP shield and the G3. Love em both. But the G3 is much easier to rack. If you get the G3 it’s definitely a good buy. You can rack this thing easily.

I don't know if I've ever asked you this, but I don't recall getting an answer. Carrying a concealed gun is a pain in the ass enough as it is. I can't imagine carrying a gun with a 4+" barrel. Truthfully, the 3.2" barrel on the G2C is at the limit of what I can conceal comfortably. What say yee?
I'm writing this May/2020 and $180 for a G2c is a pipe dream. The cheapest I've seen is $219.99
After watching this video, I asked Taurus if I could install a G3 Trigger shoe onto a G2C, and their response was something about voiding the warranty.
Once this flu gets behind us, the G2C will come back down in price. Unless a dem gets elected.... To each his own for CC. I carry a very small one, or sometimes a midsize, or sometimes both. Depending on both. The G2C is a better size for carry, but there is no free lunch so you sacrifice a few things. There is no right answer. Id say go for it either way. Dont buy a carry gun that you hate carrying and leave at home. Having one is the most important thing IMO. Yeah you would have to modify the frame for a G3 trigger to work in the G2C , and I'm not sure it would work even then. I did a video on this topic.

Good video. Very informative. I bought the g2c first and liked it so much I bought the g3. Awesome pistol at a great price point. You can have them both for the price of a glock. I also own glocks and feel like these Taurus pistols are very comparable in both function and quality.
I bought them both. Loved them.
Depends on the purpose for the pistol. If I wanted more of a carry pistol that conceals better then the G2c being a sub compact. If I wanted more of a home defense, car gun, and range gun then the G3 and being a compact its moderately concealable. Concealability also will be based on body type. I know Taurus calls the G2c a compact and the G3 a full size but by definition they are wrong. By definition a compact is moderately concealable so by Taurus saying that the G3 is concealable they are admitting its a compact, not a full size.
Yep, thats what I think too. The G2C is a subcompact, and the G3 a compact.

I have both and everything you said said is dead on and 100 percent true. I LOVE both but probably like the g3 a little better. Better trigger and more ammo. Only down side is concealability which I'd still not bad. Great video brother.

You can get a SIG 226 18 round magazine and increase your ammunition capacity from 12+1 to 18+1 (for both the the stock G2c and G3c magazines). Magazine sleeves are available to fill in the gap when using longer, higher capacity magazines). This will effectively give you a longer grip.

I paid 250 for the g2c in 2020. And 287 for the g3c in 2021. But i think i paid more because of the covid panic climate. Bought them both from the same local gun store. So i probably paid more for it because of that all so.
Being the weirdo that I am, the flush 15 round mags would be all that I own. I hate when the grip hangs lower than slide. Also I like both mags to have the same capacity.

Well, I got a lot to say but I bore myself at times, LOL!
First, being 67 I've really got into shorter sight radius. You get older the eyes get tired! I'm not the only guy that has went to shorter guns! Bill Wilson of Wilson Combat has went to an Officers model 1911.
For me the 3.2" barrel is great. I still shoot 4" without a problem, but my 5" 1911 got retired! Plus, the G2C size, to me, is a perfect carry size. I have two reasons, old eyes, as I mentioned, plus anyone will get a shorter barrel gun out of their holster faster! Realistically, the G2C will work for me since I have 4 holsters and a duel spare mag carrier for my PT111 G2. But, it looks like I will buy the G2C and the G3! Ok. I see what you mean. For me, longer sight radius lets me aim better.
Well without rebates the guns are similarly priced. So really what it comes down to is do you want a big or small guns. Some people with big hands (myself included) might prefer a bigger gun to grip on to. The opposite is true for people with smaller hands wanting a smaller gun. Its going to come down to preference and maybe how much ammo per mag you want to carry.

Great review bud. Just found your channel and subbed. I have the PT 111 G2 and it's been great. Plan on picking up the G3 later. Hopefully after the first of the year, the price will drop some more, or another rebate deal. One can hope lol.

I was gonna buy the G3 (already have the g2c) but might just do trigger upgrade on my g2c and add the 18 round p226 mag. 😁 thank you sir for this video! (Also I bought the tx22 as a gun that I leave in the spare car)

Thanks for your opinion on this two excellent new guns Taurus from Brazil. You are right, if we can is better get the both guns and interchange magazine for more bullets capacity. Here in P. R. they probably cost a little more but still cheaper guns compare with the Glock 19 Gen 5. Good video. Ivan Borrero.
You are welcome. I'm glad you liked the video. Yeah I really like both, and the mag interchange is awesome, with the G3 to G2C. I have videos showing me using the G3 mags in my G2C. They worked great. And Yes!, definitely cheaper than Glock. I do like Glock, but they are expensive.
