I usually don't care for Miranda Lambert but I love this song. My favorite part is when she says "Horatio the human cannonball" idk why but I absolutely love that line. I can listen to it and after that line I can change it but can't change it till she says that (even though it's only the second line! Lol)

This video and song is about acceptance of all walks of life. Why are we sitting here bringing up the subject of obesity? Was seeing Miranda in this video what triggered the subject? If there is one thing that bothers me in this world it is passing judgement about other people especially people like Miranda Lambert who do so many great things in this world. While I adore Miranda Lambert's talent, she didn't write this song.The song was co-written by veteran singer-songwriter Don Henry, who in 1990 co-penned Kathy Mattea's Grammy-winning tune, "Where've You Been." The other writer was Country Music artist Phillip Coleman, who penned in 2008 the original version of Ronnie Dunn's hit "Cost of Livin'". I do think this song was written for her...she brings it to life!
My girlfriend is a transgender woman and she is coming down here to visit me for the first time for Valentine's Day in just a few days from now. I just can't tell you how excited I am to finally meet her in person after talking to her for about 16 months now online! Love is love no matter how you find it. I saw her live in May, and one of my favorite parts was when they dropped the disco ball. some of my best pictures came at the end of this song. she was fabulous live!! If you ever get the chance to go to one of her concerts, take it! :)

Instant classic! The epitome of country music! Songs about real people real things. And it does not hurt that it has a good melody a good hook and a real pretty singer. This is what I call art. To me this song is about compassion and acceptance and love.
