As soon as enough air is moving through the Ventura to draw fuel through the main jet I suppose. As far as fuel optimization its my conclusion that the engine will run to fast or pooling of fuel would occur so they just blocked the mixture’s on 2 bottom carbs. My opinion
Hear how it hesitates going to wide open. The idle is a little lean or the accelerator pump is not correctly adjusted. That slight bog is definitely there and that motor I think needs an extra 1/8 of a turn richer on the idle mixture screws.
Is this due to the 2+2 cilinder for fuel optimalisation? When do the other carbs work? At about 1500-2000 rpm?
