Probably the same reason why I had to find it...I'm getting older, and I have memories of my past - when I was younger, that are stuck in my head, and driving me crazy. I have all sorts of things that are trapped in my mind, and I want to see them, or relive them over again - even if it's as trivial as a simple TV commercial. Finding this TV ad, after years of having it stuck in my mind, but not being able to see it - is therapy. It helps me remember who I was back in 1990. When I was younger. A simple silly TV ad, but seeing it again triggers all sorts of other memories. It helps me to unlock other memories. I just turned 49 yrs old days ago, but seeing this ad again after all these years... well, I remember it so well, as it used be played constantly on the TV back then - for a couple years, but then the ad was removed, and not seen again by me until now. Seeing it now reminds me of how I used to feel back then, who I was, and brings back memories of when I was just 21 yrs old going 22 during that year, and when I was just starting College. All these years later, the one thing that always stuck in my mind about this ad was the woman driving the convertible sports car - I never forgot that. Now I've seen it again - 27 years later, and it makes me feel really good. Strange therapy indeed.
@Duane Andrews - Nice to meet you. I wrote the story for this fascinating commercial, and also played all the music - LIVE. I even supplied all the hotdogs on set, and doubled as stuntman.
Kapellmeister Bono: "What is this 'Marriage Of Figaro'?" Count Orsini Rosenberg: "It's a French play, Kapellmeister. It has been banned by the emperor".
I don't know why I had to find this but trust and believe I appreciate the upload...
