Yes. Jamaican rice and peas can be eaten by itself if it's cooked with some pigtails or stew beef and seasoned right... its' call 'Barefoot Rice and Peas".
The people who are taking you around to these places really don’t have a clue about the food they are showing you or recommending to you. They are not giving you the correct description of what the foods are! They sound a bit dunce to be fair 😂

Sir Jollof rice is in no way related to nor an influence in rice and peas. We need to stop giving credit where credit is NOT due. Jollof is a tomato based rice dish mor closely related to Savannah red rice or Mexican rice and not made with coconut milk. You should no the that coconut milk is a main ingredient that highlights rice and peas. No relation to Jollof.
I don’t see the core Jamaican Community in the UK surviving another 20 years. It seems like they’re just waiting for the Windrush elders to expire. Jamaicans over there need to figure something out quick.
That’s very interesting I’m sorry I didn’t get to dive into that because I wasn’t really there for filming but I’m planning to go back and that’s an interesting take I need to explore. 🙏🏽
One of the worst food boos shows I’ve watched and I live and grow in London, this was such a let down. Exploring different countries food should only involve food of that country and culture, what’s does African food have to do with England, that was purely a hustle to get food boss to spend in that shop. If I visit china and want traditional food I won’t explain pasta or a taco. P.s that girl is lost and fully annoying. Big up food Boss never the less ✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽🇯🇲🏴
Love your honesty and thank you for your support. This is one that was on the border of being put on the channel and I decided to let everyone be apart of it. Not my favorite either. Totally not what i usually do. But was my decision to release it. I totally respect your position and in more ways than one agree with you. I will strive to do better going forward. I apologize. One love and thank you 🙏🏽

Disappointing. I couldn't watch it all it was so bad. That guy with the dirty mouth and stocking cap ruined the whole experience. Please be a bit more choosy about who you do tours with. You were robbed of a good opportunity to eat great food in the UK, but unfortunately, you chose a scammer to do it with. If I see that guy on your vlog again, I will unsubscribe. No joke.
Don't bring the guy with the stocking on His head around again, he is super annoying. Stop talking bruh
Literally that's Posty 😒
He really does talk a lot.
He seems cool lol, bring a lil more character to the whole experience
Like you don’t know who he is

I Always get a full English breakfast when I visit London it's a must!
Jollof rice and rice and peas is not a good comparison. It would be better to compare Jollof with pelau
I'm so excited for this food tour
Omg beautiful atmosphere and delicious food cant ask for more blessings ❤❤
How can the woman say black pig is a racist name?!? 😂😂😂 has she ever seen a black pig before because I certainly have
Yo, you ate Ghanaian food. Our rice and beans is called Waakye. Glad that you enjoyed the food!

Looked bland as hell
Whhhaaa? You was in London? You should have done a fan meet and greet!
Planning another trip that will be more about the food. This was just a run and gun with a small camera. Thank you so much though. One love

They’ve just took him to what they see on tik tok. Really disappointing
Jollof rice and rice and peas debate is stupid. Comparing apples and oranges
