I think Kirby and the Forgotten Land is a great way to introduce Kirby into the 3d platforming genre

Are you kidding Kirby and the forgotten land broke the laws of 2D-side-scrolling genre of every Kirby games. And it worked out perfectly, hopefully we get more 3D Kirby games like this in the future!

I definitely enjoyed Kirby's Mouthful Mode in Kirby and the Forgotten Land making Kirby use his whole body to turn into a car a soda machine a light bulb a traffic cone and even become a truck.

I think for the next title, their best bet is to give us a proper 3d dreamland in some way. a new story in a familiar setting. but one they are not shy about seeing warped in some crazy way because of new plot

Yes I was actually eyeing metroid dread but I didn't get it because until 2 years later when it came out cause I don't know I'm weird but I was so mad it took me this long to get it because I was immediately hooked onto the series when I completed it and luckily prime remastered was already out and that game's a masterpiece.

I don’t understand the overall distaste people have in seeing Popstar/Dreamland in 3D. They are so magical and whimsical that just seeing those dreamy environments sounds awesome
RTDX backgrounds are gorgeous, and I’d love to explore those myself. Something Kirby does all the time is revisit concepts in locals, but still making them feel different from eachother despite similar hazards and such.
My favorite Kirby game and for sure getting a sequel. It’s the best selling Kirby game in the series for good reason.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land has definitely got to be one of my favorite Nintendo games of all time but also one of my favorite video games of all time. That may be over exaggeration but I can't help it this game's way too good.
Alright y'all, what about a 3d game where kirby travels to the time and place where the ancient ones lived, and he gets to explore it, locking dark nebula in his chest along with a bunch of lore for us to discuss
They should make an open world game like botw but kirby and the forgotten land-like, also 60 fps like rttd dx, and you can go to other planets like kirby 64 as well as combine copy abilities like in 64, I NEED LIGHTSABER KIRBY BACK
And also bring back zero as zero 3 or smth, and an open world popstar where you can go to dreamland and practically anywhere on popstar seamlessly in 3d,and help waddle dees and dedede cant be possessed this time i want dedede to be more like he showed in the scene where he saved a waddle dee, also meta knight better be a peak character again

I don't think we're getting a direct seque.
The last time we really had a "sequel" in the Kirby series was Dream Land 2 and 3.... while you could argue Like, Triple Deluxe and Robobot and Star Allies are sequels to Return, they're all unique. Especially with the Kirby franchise, they don't often stick with one gimmick or idea for more than a game, again, other than Dream Land 2 and 3. So I feel like an actual "Forgotten Land 2" isn't gonna happen.
They won't want to stick around in the same world, same story characters, same gimmick, because thats just not what HAL does. I think we will get another 3D Kirby game, but it'll be totally different and won't share any features, maybe other than engine with Forgotten Land.

Video idea: I would love to see a video continuing on the ever enemy ever series where you do every desert enemy ever. I would also love to see every grass enemy ever, every water enemy ever, every sky enemy ever, every jungle enemy ever, every lava enemy ever, etc.

My prediction is 2026 for 3d kirby
I would be very happy with a "sequel". I'm not too enthusiastic about a more open game because I don't think it can be as expressive as the more linear levels in the case of Kirby but I would try it and would love to be proven wrong.
I can see us getting a (forgotten land 2) sometime in the future since the 1st one was awesome. Plus they could expand upon it and make it even better with the sequel.
If they want an in between step from 3D World-esque linear 3D Kirby to open world Kirby, they could potentially return to more of a Great Cave Offensive/Amazing Mirror style for 3D, something more Metroidvania-esque (those styles aren't quite Metroidvanias because they don't have the gameplay of having to collect powerups to open up new areas, but in terms of map design they're a maze of interconnected rooms just like a Metroidvania). That would open things up to a bit more exploration without having to go for massive open worlds.
If and only if Kirby and The Forgotten Land 2 happens and comes out I'm sooo getting that game

I personally think if they do planet robo-bot In 3D they would have to at least to remake or remastered planet robo-bot so people understand. But I do expect to see planet robo-bot to get remade sometime in the switch era. So fingers crossed 🤞
I expect the aesthetic for the next mainline kirby game to be completely different from the to pervious entries. I know Inter-dimensional travel or something going deep into kirby lore is what most people expect, but I really want the theme of the next 3d game to catch people off gaurd. I personlly want Hal to take a shot on a aesthetic center on paint or multiple art mediums and what they can do with it in a mainline game.

They'll totally make another 3D Kirby game since the first one sold so well ..But I actually don't want a sequel to any of the games in the series, rather something brand new.
my dream game would be a game that uses the forgotten land engine but makes it a robobot sequel. like imagine mechanized awoofies. I feel like there was enough left up in the air for a robobot sequel to be possible.

Kirby and the dorgotten land is probably my favourite game of all time. I teslly hope they make another similar game. Or just anything kirby related. I don't care of its 3d or 2d. I have played kirby games on both gameplay styles amd they were amazing. I rrally just want a new kirby game.
Okay, Kirby and the Forgotten Land was such a fantastic game HAL Laboratory has ever made like giving us new copy abilities like Ranger and Drill and also new copy ability upgrades which I do like the Morpho Sword ability, they gave us new characters like The Beast Pack which are, Gorimondo, Clawroline, Sillydillo, and Leongar, and Fecto Elfilis, they gave us a new cute companion for Kirby which is Elfilin, they changed King Dedede's design which I'm not a fan of sorry, they have amazing lands for us to go to and travel and explore, and they gave us some amazing music to listen to like Running Through the New World and Roar of Dedede. The Mouthful Modes are amazing to use like Car Mouth, Cone Mouth, Arch Mouth, Dome Mouth, Coaster Mouth, Scissor Lift Mouth, Storage Mouth, Lightbulb Mouth, Vending Mouth, Ring Mouth, Stairs Mouth, Pipe Mouth, Water Balloon mouth, and Big Rig Mouth. And they also gave us a new hub world which is Waddle Dee Town which kinda reminds me of Cappy Town from Kirby Right Back At Ya. But yeah Forgotten Land was such a fantastic game to play on Switch and HAL just nailed it for 3D Kirby.
So now I'm thinking what the sequel for Forgotten Land could be about? Since Kirby defeated Fecto Elfilis, The Beast Pack became allies to Kirby since Kirby saved Leongar from Fecto Forgo, and Kirby defeating Dark Matter one last time in the Arena. So I'm thinking that the story could be about Kirby, Elfilin, and his friends including The Beast Pack having fun in Waddle Dee Town until this group called The Ancients created a portal and starts dragging Kirby, Elfilin, and his friends into a different dimension and they have to figure out who brings them to this different dimension. So then in the sequel they would have new copy abilities and new upgrades, new mouthful modes, new lands, new levels, new enemies, new bosses, new characters, and having playable characters like King Dedede, Meta Knight, Bandana Waddle Dee, and Clawroline. So I hope the sequel for Kirby and the Forgotten Land will be amazing to play then Forgotten Land.
But I also can't wait for the new 2D Kirby Game that's coming and I hope like we get to see this new female Kirby Character that looks related to Susie Polly to see her in the Kirby series and maybe in the new 2D Kirby Game or maybe we can see her in the sequel for Kirby and the Forgotten Land which that would really cool to see.
A game with that exact title? 0%. But we will definitely get another 3D platformer Kirby game within the next 3 years. Hopefully one that targets 60fps gameplay like Mario 3D World.
I've hundred percented forgotten land twice, gotten 81 percent without any copy abilities, and have started speedrunning it. I like 3d ball of bubblegum.

When is Kirby and the Nin10doland dropping?
Let’s get another 3D Kirby game for Switch 2 by March 2026. Let’s bring back the animal friends, Rick, Kine, Koo, Gooey and ChuChu. We also need Adeleine and Ribbon back since they’ve been suffering since Star Allies, and I hope they’ll get voice clips. The top 10 copy abilities I want back are Archer, Artist, Backdrop, Doctor, Hi-Jump, Laser, Leaf, Magic, Mike and Ninja.

I doubt it, correct me if I’m wrong but we haven’t gotten a Kirby sequel since dreamland 3, if we get another 3d game it will probably have very similar gameplay, but not a sequel, kind of like triple deluxe and planet robobot, similar gameplay but not a sequel, a new 3d Kirby doesn’t HAVE to be a sequel you know.
While Sony and Microsoft layoff tens of thousands of people. Nintendo is hiring a lot of people this year. From the Nintendo company itself, but also Monolith Soft game freak and, you guessed it, the HAL laboratory specifically 3D developers. forgotten land immediately went for a Post apocalyptic game for the first 3D game, so since forgotten land is selling so well, the next game will be Something Else
Side note the New people that game freak is hiring combined with ILCA making a studio in their building called pokemon works, game freak is finally going to get the amount of developers that pokemon games need
