Demo day and froggy forest

With my bedroom slowly turning into a plant nursery, I use any okay day to work in the garden and make progress there. This time, I continued the demolition of the second hut. Tearing down the shed is far from done, but I called it a day to enjoy a forest walk past where the frogs are spawning.

How exciting that the tulips bloomed and the strawberries are doing well. Your plant starts look great too. I can’t wait to see the progress on the shed, so far so good. I love the frogs, one of my favorite signs of spring.

The tulips have come and gone, so I am already thinking about shallow things to plant there until they bloom again next spring. I love tulips but they are so short-seasoned.

I'm glad to see your wide smile and looking so excited about being in the garden. Looks like spring has eventually arrived in northern Germany. You know it when flowers appear and frogs start copulating! I love frogs and toads. They are mysterious creatures with bulging eyes and bumpy skin. I once had an ginormous female toad hibernating in my compost heap. She was very lovely and we called her 'angel eyes' . If you like poetry, you should read Ted Hughes poem "BullFrog". He had an extraordinary capacity to observe and understand animals. Take care.

I’m currently psyching myself up to start demolishing an old garden shed so this is a well timed video 😊 (luckily the tacky felt stuff on the roof has already rotted away)
