Well done. The only thing I ever disagree about with LP is not buying. I bought as a trainee solicitor and never regret it - I even married just before I started my training and we had a child whilst I was a trainee so may be that made us keener to buy sooner and we bought in outer London where I still live. My view was spent right up your very very limit on a property - we used every last penny on savings last time we moved really to stretch to the biggest house we could get and that worked wonderfully well even though the stamp duty still makes me weep even now. I know there are different views on this.For me other than being able to pay school fees a lovely big house was just about the only thing I really wanted so it was number 2 priority rather than buying shares or even pension.

we have the same sofabed from ikea (if it is the same one). Pleeeeeasse let me know if you have any tips for making it more comfortable over time - 2 years in and it’s still rock solid 😢
Hahahaha - I think maybe we’ve just got used to it after 4 years 😂😂 May consider upgrading, but in the meantime, we call the corner of the sofa where we have tons of pillows the “pillow palace” and take it on turns to sit there 😜
