The not-so-secret-ingredient in the overall groove sauce: Nakamura Grease! Thanks to all of the musicians for this fantastic performance!🤗💖
The epitome of cool. I feel transported back to an earlier era but at the same time the music is fresh. 🎶🎶
Great, great, great!
There is so much „linear“ playing - so much space and freedom/respect between all musicians . It is not overloaded with sound - delicate! Thanx !
Emmet's comping - otherworldly!
based
John Ellis has monstrous lines... Emmet's solo is absolute trio madness.
Love these vids, man!
damn, the tenor played all that without shoes on
do you need shoes on to play tenor?
Actually, he had little suede shoes on. You just couldn’t see them.
Awesome soloing, so melodic. Love it.
Thank you! You all lift my spirit 🎵🎶🎹😁👍
Awesome sound! Amazing improvisation! Thanks for sharing! Have a wonderful weekend friends
Emmet's the baddest cat. Really.
the best listener, best piano accompaniment i could imagine.
but hiromi for example has the better touch.
@@wurstfinger3289 she's absolutely one of my favorites
@@richardturner4074 yea. she is unbelievable. since ages.
@@wurstfinger3289 nah Hiromi doesn't swing very well
@@PieInTheSky9 there is nothing, she can not, only some things, she rarely does. if she wants to swing, she swings perfectly.
Absolutely Magnificent!
Damn, Emmet. The taste and creativity, not to mention originality and consistency of these performances, while still totally respectful and true to tradition, is freaking astonishing. Definitely cool, but NOT too cool for school my man! As I was listening and thinking during tge horn solos "how refreshing to keep the Latin thing going without the usual switching back and forth btwn Latin and swing. And then you flipped me like Monk by changing THAT up w your piano solo in straight ahead swing w no Latin. Well we never forget what Whitney Balliet said about jazz as the sound of surprise 😮.
Love this song ❤❤
Great show as always Emmet! You ever thought about inviting Baptiste Herbin?
He's in France.
@@mambojazz1just make em play visa (blues);) if he ever tours the US it’d be hella amazing to hear him with the Emmet trio!!
@@koegon The point is Emmett's show isnt at the point of flying artists in from France. But if he's on tour in the US and comes to New York then yea I 100% agree Id LOVE LOVE LOVE to hear him here!
@@mambojazz1 exactly:))
very nice transition back to the head
This tune is SO good, and so is this band!
Yáll got to "the place" on this! Actually several places!
Yeaaah lovely done, congrats all. ❤
One of my favorites. I like the arraignment and execution. All the musicians are excellent. The trumpet and sax have a marvelous 'harmony' (for lack of a better word). I like the drummer as well. Perhaps not of this Earth, but just right.
Muy bueno!!!
Sounds like jazz, yay!
Thanks!
All players so cool
Wow that’s awesome Jazz band, amazing musician, i was fascinated, nice sharing, new friend here and Subscriber from Manila Philippines.
Well done! 👍🏼 Excellent band! 👌🏼 Excellent sound pickup! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
🔥
Jako dobro! Baš dobro. Dobra vibra u bendu, vrlo opušteno i izvrsno muziciranje. Yasushi ima solo 11 minuta :). Emmet vrlo dobar, vrlo živahne i zanimljive figure, minijature, motivi, dobar pijanist. Brass odličan, obojica. Vrhunski! Hvala.
emmet just gonna go nutso @ 6:40
👍👍👍
😊 ✨
Very very cool, you should get a bass clarinet on
✌ 🎹
Who is the bass player? 🤯🤯🤯
Nasushi Nakamura, all the musicians are in the description :)
i wanna fly like the bass player XD

god damn, who left his phone on?
All great musicians but trying too hard to be cool.....the music sounds being pushed as supposed to come out naturally .
Yáll got to "the place" on this! Actually several places!
