Congrats! Great Work! I'm working on a prop based on this instrument. I intend that both the longitude and latitude could be adjusted. Inicially I thought on a giroscopic estructure for the globe but then I discovered that it would be a little more complicated since the globe is to close to the window and due to this that is no space for any rods perpendicular to the North-South axis. I think I kind a have a solution for that but it'll take some thinking...
thanks! Curious to see how you model will look! In my model only the longitude of the globe can be adjusted with the rotating switch below. The other switch below the globe is to adjust the led patterns on the right of the panel. The axis on the poles are indeed close to the window. You will have to find a way to work around that.
