@@batclocks9110 you've got to remember that there was a point when he was probably like everyone else, and he was mad when he lost, but being upset when you lose, only stops you from thinking about why you lost and the improvements you should be making. it shouldn't be "why is this move/character so good", it should be "what should I be doing to avoid it/play around them, what are my strong points" and you play to improve instead of win.
@@Parris360XP Yes, it's important to focus on improvement rather than winning. I realize that's how you get good at games. I'm just saying people tend to get salty when they lose. They are much less likely to get salty when that rarely happens.
You would be surprised how much worse losing can feel if a player has become used to winning more often then not. Everyone deals with losing in different ways, regardless of win rate
Breaks are so needed. I find if i lose a lot of games. A week off does the trick..I bounce back and hit my goals i.e. certain number of points or executing something new in game play
Good advice, I definitely have found myself over looking losses during games and losing because I was still flustered with a previous game. What also helped a lot was taking a breath in between rounds, fixing my posture (I have bad posture in general) and try to focus on what exactly is beating me to remember to lab it after the game.
I win more games in ranked bc i train before i go into serious matches. If i lose 2 or 3 ranked i stop before the salt rises. I use casual for trial n error until in ready for serious fights
Mate you should have stopped if you lose at least 2 matches. For me to de-stress, I end up going to casual or battle lounge to relax and seems to work wonders for me. You should think why you lost some matches to learn from them and use them to your advantage of a learning curve. Hope you get your points back and come back stronger than ever 👍🏻
@@FidFighter I will eventually get them back. I go on 10 win streak to then a 10 loss streak. Granted I have only been playing for 4 months and just got silver.
@@MikeLiteraus You should be happy you quickly got to Silver in only 4 months. I've been stuck at super Browze since the game released and only kinda playing now since season 5 made the game fun and only recently I climbed to Ultra Browze, so don't feel down dude.
Is a problem of mine too. I was playing a E. Honda but I could not get in, no matter what I did, made me a bit grumpy. I am now stuck around Gold 4300-4800. But I just started playing again 3 weeks ago after a, what, 4 year hiatus? I ended playing while I was around rank 19000 back then (4500 points). Now it's 150000 or something. I hate it when my PS3 d-pad fuck it up. Sometimes I calmly do a quarter circle but somehow a super comes out. And times where it doesn't register it at all. I need a new one but I still love the PS3 pad. The 2 was even better because of the normal R2/R1 buttons.
I sometimes find myself on a losing streak even though I'm playing better. When matches go down to the wire (last hit last round) it's anyone's game and you can simply be getting unlucky.
Next time you're playing a match, try complimenting your opponent if they make a good play. See how it feels, and think about what you might be able to learn from what they did
Me when my opponent blocks a wake up invincible reversal and I eat a big punish: "God ass $%#@ing damn it crap!" Infexious when it happens to him: "Hmm" 😆
When I lose one or two matches, i end up running away for my life for whatever points I have left lol 🤣. But in all honesty I end up getting them back because I never really get stressed and if I do lose points, then I probably deserve to lose to better players 😅
You use the so-called 'crosscut DP". You essentially lightly tap forward the precise moment a jump or attack crosses your head and dp the opposite direction (the direction your opponent will land). Infexious actually has a video on his channel specifically about crosscut, search it up. 👍
@@renanfuzita7962 i recommend you watch all of his educational videos. i got from platinum to super diamond thanks to watching them. I usually run casual until I get a little streak going then I hop on ranked. Hopefully i get some time in against a seth, gill, sakura, Juri or guile. Those seem to be my hardest matchups as a Ken user.
I like that you're hoping to face your hardest match ups (I'm like that too). That's exactly the kind of attitude that will help towards your levelling up! Try randomly favouriting a few of those specialist in your rank from the leader board, then invite them for some battle lounge sets, you'd be surprised how much experience that can bring you too
@@infexiousdc I have been trying to win matches just using regular attacks. I beat a juri just with mp I was like no way this could work. Yet at the right distance ken's mp can stop almost everything she's tries to do. Work is picking up so I can only play on the weekends which sucks. I do invite my strongest foes to the battle lounge. They accept my friend request but they never come to play. I have a friend who is way better than me but our Ken vs ken, ken vs cammy and dan vs dan matches are fun. I can beat him about 15 to 25 percent of the time now that's not bad considering before I couldn't win at all. I should have more wins trolling with dan makes people rage quit lol. Not my fault his regular attacks are no good. His mk and hp are just really good weapons
For cross cuts, check out my video on "How to crosscut"; Auto corrects are dps that are performed normally, in the direction the opponent jumped from, but the actual dps come out on the opposite side (or "auto-corrects") instead, as they go over your head
I aspire to have the level headedness of Infexious, as he eats a raw jump in and says "oh sugar" in the calmest tone imaginable.
I imagine it's much easier when you win >80% of the games you play

How can you punish Honda’s sumo smash with medium DP? I tried so many times and I can’t do that.
