Thanks for bringing me to the truck show, Johnno. I liked hearing the Detroit in the old Dodge. Reminded me of riding in the 1965 C90 Chevy that my dad used to drive.
Bonjour Steve. Wonderful show and another great video. In any case, as I am in France, I must say that you made my eyes shine like those of a child in front of the Christmas tree. The more I watch your videos, the more I can't wait to eventually come and settle in your beautiful country and hope to be able to finish my career as a truck driver with you. Would be the icing on the cake to complete my 30 years on the European road. Good day to you and be safe on the road 😉
Credit to you Jonno Happy Easter to you and your family mate!! Great event well set out and executed.. How good to have 4 legend's in one spot to Jonno, you, Yogi , Steve Graham, and Sludge 👌
Steve Grahame the best "Outback trucker", humble, a gentleman and hard working man, no camera "show pony" with Steve, calls it as he sees it. "Truck & Bus" magazine was the go when I was a lad in the early 1970's. Pity you didn't stop and do a walk down "Old Timers" row from 14:06. Good video
Great video Steve, good to see you catch up with The Outback Truckers crew. If you want to pass the world around this July in North Queensland in Mareeba we will be having a truck show at the Mareeba Rodeo. Would be great to see you and the Outback Trucker's there.
Hi from Brisbane, once again you did a great job Johnno. Lots of awesome trucks there. They had a big truck show in NZ for Kenworths 100 years at Mystery Creek in Hamilton. Trucks from all over NZ. Stay safe and keep up the good work.
G'day Johnno, Great episode , some really nice rigs on show. You put together a really professional vid ,congratulations. But who says Steve n Yogie are the most famous Aussie truckers ... Look out boys , Johnno's comming through. Thanks for bringing this one to the faithful. Respect.....!

Oh very nice. Thanks heaps. Well you'll love the next video I'm making right now. One again is going from one side of the country to the other but with so much more included. It might be my biggest video yet to come.
The Kenworth Klassic is on in September at the Hawkesbury Showground which is across the road from the Richmond RAAF Base in NSW. That Dodge D5N 700 is magnificent. Only about 400 of them built. You need your ear muffs on to drive it though. Good work again Johnno. Jeff.

Hi Jono. Awesome video on the WA Mack muster. Bloody brilliant. Very impressive to see the truckin Life magazine has returned to Australia. I’m 57 years of age and I can remember the magazine not long after it started back in 1976 and I was 10 years old and I brought the magazine here in New Zealand in the South Island where I live. I can’t recall but I got the magazine 10 years plus and around the mid 80’s the NZ trucking magazine started up. I remember the rig of the month centre fold with a girl draped over the bonnet of the truck and I thought, why can’t you guys lose the girl. Remember I was 10 and didn’t understand why they need girls in bikinis posing with the polished big rigs. Good to see Yogi and co making the truckin life mag making a comeback for people to read in your part of the world and ours as well. Definitely I would like to subscribe to this mag soon. Keep up the good work Jono and your videos keep them coming and if the truckin life do a TH-cam channel I would like to watch and subscribe to it. Cheers. Angus. NZ.
True mate. I have a good mate of my who drives trucks here in NZ over in WA in holiday at the moment and his family lives in Perth and they went to the show that day and he’s a Kenworth man through and through a. He really enjoyed it a lot he was saying to me. Last month here in NZ in Waikato there was a kenworth muster weekend on and I think there was just under 800 kenworth trucks turn up for the weekend. There is a few videos done on that show on TH-cam to see. Great to see and watch.
Great video Johnno. I noticed a Booth truck with a sun visor ( very rare ) Sherell for Long Distance Lorry Dairies does the same runs I used to many years ago Good to hear Truckin Life's coming back as well as OBT. I enjoyed my trips I did with them. And they never got in the way at all.
I know that trucks down in Australia have a different purpose than the ones here in the states (I think, like terrain, how much diesel they hold, and how much they pull?) but man I wouldn’t mind seeing some of them up here. Beautiful!!!!!
I thought Jon kelly would’ve made an appearance with his mint Mack’s. Good to see old Steve graham he’s the reason I watch outback truckers old school trucker.

hi, ive recently shown interest in trucking and if i recieve my proper liscensces, how may i gain experience because you cant just go and get a job because 99.9999% of the jobs request 2+ years experience, so how do you gain experience for hc+ for as little money as possible?
Yes it's hard but many companies are desperate for drivers. You may have to try and get a start in a company in a rigid first. Try to look for companies that have all size trucks, that way once they can see your goods at diving they can give you a go in a semi then a double.
